Desperation.

Chapter 21

When we arrive at my parents' house I ring the doorbell because I forgot my keys.

My mum opens the door.

"Hello my dear! Where have you been the whole day?! I was waiting for you and Grandma was here! She wanted to see you but you didn't come! And you forgot your mobile phone! And Sam needs your help with his homework!"

"Muuuum!!" I try to stop her flow of words "Sorry for being not at home the whole day but I'm 17 and I think I can make my own decisions about spending my days or nights. So I'll sleep at Rose's house tonight." I lie.

"Don't forget about your sister's birthday. And you take Nelly with you, okay?"

Oh no. What should our dog do at Louis' house? Luckily he stayed in the car so he doesn't hear the discussion between Mum and me.

And tomorrow I have to go shopping. I need a present for Julia.

I take my clothes and my bag for tomorrow and disappear very quickly so my mother cannot say more.

Nelly comes with me and Louis grins when he sees her.

Nelly jumps into the car and when I sit down too she climbs onto my lap.

Ugh... it's not very comfortable to have a husky on my lap!

When we stop in front of Rose's house it doesn't take a long time to wait for her. She has no annoying mother who always asks a million questions.

We get to Louis' house quickly and I'm glad that Nelly doesn't have to sit on my lap any longer.

"I have to walk my dog... do you want to come with me?" I ask Louis and he nods.

We take Nelly's dog leash and go outside.

Louis takes my hand and at first Nelly almost runs away because she doesn't get all our attention but now we watch her.

The walk is much more fun with Louis although we don't talk much.

It's a pleasant silence because I can feel the love in the air.

Sounds strange doesn't it? But that's the only way to describe the atmosphere right now.

And Louis is calm until we get to a street near the mall.

"Let's go back, Diana." Louis whispers.

"Why do you want to go back? Let's just go through this street and then we can go back to your house."

"No! I don't want to go through this street! Let's go home now! You want to go to bed early, don't you? So hurry up."

Oh no! I don't like this Louis!

I want the cute and adorable Louis, not the obnoxious and angry Louis!

"Come on, Diana! I don't want to wait for you! And if you don't come with me I'll go back alone."

Why does he say that?!

When we're back I'm glad that I don't need to be alone with him.

Normally I'd love being alone with him but something changed when we came to the street.

That's why I am always insecure about him. I can't say what he's going to do next.

"Nelly!" Rose screams when she sees my dog "you're back!"

She sits down on the floor and caresses Nelly.

Nelly seems to enjoy that and I smile.

Nelly is so cute - but it's annoying to always have to go out with her.

"Does anybody want a tea?" Zayn asks and I nod "Yes please."

He goes into the kitchen and a few minutes later he comes back with two cups of tea and he hands me one.

"Do you want to watch a movie?" Louis asks and Zayn nods "Great idea! Rose? Diana?"

I look at Rose and she nods so I say "Yea that would be great."

We sit down on the sofa and Zayn starts the movie.

I don't know it but it seems to be interesting.

There's a spoilt girl who lives in America and her parents want her to move to England.

She isn't really enthusiastic because she doesn't like the boarding school where she lives and she doesn't like the other pupils.

But after a while she makes new friends and she likes her new home.

Louis doesn't say 'sorry for being rude' or anything like that.

We sit next to each other and he just pulls me to his chest and puts his hands around my waist.

That's his way to say sorry.

Maybe it's better this way.

So I don't go on thinking about that and I just enjoy the feeling and lean against his chest.

I didn't realise that I fell asleep but Louis wakes me up with a kiss and the words "Good morning, princess. It's time to get up!"

Oh my god! He's so cute! I want to wake up this way every morning...

But I can't spend a very long time with Louis because Rose and I have to go to school.
