Chapter 44

It takes two weeks until I am able to talk to anyone else.

Two weeks full of sadness, crying and searching for an answer. For an answer to all of my questions.

Who killed Leanne?

Why?

Did Leanne know her murderer?

Is her murderer still in Doncaster?

And so on...

I wish I knew these answers...

"Diana?" my mother calls out.

"What's up?" I say and try to speak normally.

"There's someone on the phone who wants to talk to you."

"Who is it?"

"I don't know. I think his name is Lewis or so"

Louis. She's talking about Louis.

"Okay, I'm coming" I shout and go downstairs to take the phone.

"Hey love." His voice is so beautiful. Deep, lovely and faithful... I don't know how to describe this but when I hear his voice I know that his words are true.

"Hey Louis" I reply.

"How are you, love?"

"Don't ask" I respond.

"Should I come over?"

If he isn't in a bad mood he can be so cute!

"Yes, please."

It takes 20 minutes until he arrives but he isn't alone... Harry, Josh and Sara are with him!

"I hope it's okay for you?" he half asks half says and points to the others.

I'd rather be alone with him but I like Harry and Josh and Sara so I nod.

They come in and I show them my room.

"Nice room" Sara says and Josh nods.

It's strange how similar they look.

"Do you want to drink something?" I ask but they shake their heads.

"My Leanne" Harry whispers "my love. She left me. Someone pulled her out of life. Someone terrible. I hate this person. Whoever he is, I'll get him and kill him!" I've never seen him crying. The most popular and coolest boy of our school is crying.

Sara puts her hand on his and breathes "We will get that terrible guy. I hate him for what he did to Leanne. I fucking hate him!"

"We all hate him" I say and everyone seems to have the same thoughts.

Louis pulls me onto his lap and Josh looks confused.

I thought he knew that we're together?

Well, I think I'm wrong. He can't know that because I don't know it, either and I don't think Louis does.

He's there when I need him but sometimes he overreacts or I don't know whether to trust him or not... but I love him more than anything else.

That's the doorbell.

"I'll be back in 2 minutes" I promise and I go downstairs to open the door when I realise that Louis follows me.

I turn around and smile when I see him.

He's the only one who can make me smile at the moment...

I open the door and see a girl.

She's small and skinny and has blonde long hair.

"Hello." I say. Do I know her? I don't think so...

Her green T-Shirt is too big for her small body and the blue jeans are very... old... and odd.

"Hi. My name is Georgia" Her voice is surprisingly deep and loud for this little girl.

"Is Josh here?"

What does she want from Josh?!

"Go upstairs and ask him to come to the door. I'll stay here" Louis whispers into my ear and I do what he said.

"Just a second" I say and go back to Josh, Harry and Sara.

"Josh, there's a girl who wants to talk to you" I say and he comes with me.

"I need to talk to you." Georgia tells him without looking at anyone else. Her glance is a bit creepy...

"Okay" Josh says and he doesn't seem to be scared of her.

"I'll be back in half an hour." he promises and waves when he disappears.
