272. You have a protective older brother

Harry: On your first date with Harry your brother decides to have a small talk with him. You're listening from the kitchen as he lectures Harry on keeping his hands to himself and taking care of you in the proper manner. When he finally allows the two of you to leave for the night he nods at Harry. "Midnight." He said, reiterating the curfew your parents have set for you. He pulled you in for a hug and you snarl into his ear. "He's a gentleman. Back off." Before you can leave he replies back. "They all are on the first date." Come to find out Harry is always a gentleman, giving your brother no reason to worry.

Louis: Every man in your family has always been built and the definition of masculine, protecting you from every guy you encounter. You've been with Louis for two months before you ever bring him home to meet your family, already knowing the reaction he'll get, especially from your big brother. "He's a clown. Everything doesn't have to be a joke." He says, reiterating his earlier points after he'd turned to watching videos of Louis in order to get to know him. You sigh, becoming more frustrated with your brother by the second. "Well I love him and if you can't accept him then you won't be able to have me." You say, leaving him with an ultimatum that leaves him no choice but to welcome Louis into your family.

Niall: Even on your first date you decide to cook for Niall, ready to introduce him to a new meal you know he'll love. As you stand over the stove stirring your dish your brother comes in. "Look, he's trying to turn you into a housewife already. You're better than that." He says. You laugh it off, moving around the kitchen with ease. Your brother knows it's your favorite place to be. "It's our first date. Plus, you've never complained when I was making you dinner." You reply, giggling at him as he rolls his eyes, knowing you're right.

Liam: On the first time you invite Liam to your house, your brother hovers over you, watching your every move. Liam, as always, allows you to pick the movie you watch and waits on you hand and foot. Even so your brother sits on the couch next to you, leaving Liam cramped in the space on the other side. When he leaves you give your brother a look of dissatisfaction, his only response one that is completely illogical. "He's just too good. I swear, there's something else to him."

Zayn: "I don't like him." Your brother says over and over again. He's twice the size of Zayn and the captain of the football team. "If he hurts you I'll kill him." He continues. When Zayn comes to the door you have to move your brother from the room in order to keep him from criticizing Zayn's every move. Everything from the tattoos to the way he's been growing out his facial hair just a little turns him off from your brother, seeing him as just another bad boy who will break his little sister's heart.
