Peter sat at the cafe table with his chin resting in his palms as he kept staring at you sitting at the window. "She's so pretty." He says in awe to Ned who was doing the same as Peter. "Is that an engagement ring on her finger?" He asks. Peter frowns as his eye catches the ring placed on your ring finger on the left. "I guess I lost my chances." He says feeling defeated without even having to try.

"What if she is engaged to the wrong one? What if you are suppose to go and save her from that terrible person?" Ned asks making Peter look at him weirdly but his expression lightens up with an idea. "Maybe you are right." He says getting up. "Hey, where are you going?" Ned asks. "To save my princess of course." With that Peter was walking towards the table you were sitting at.

"That diamond in your engagement ring is fake." He says casually taking a seat in front of you. "What makes you think it's an engagement ring then?" You ask with a sly smile. He opens his mouth a few times trying to form out a sentence to say but shifts his body upwards before moving his hands over the table to grab your left hand lifting it up. "It's clearly fake for sure. You need a real prince charming you know. For a girl like you." He says trying not to choke on his words with nervousness. You laugh softly.

"It's not an engagement ring." You say taking it off and placing it on the table. "Its- it's not?" He questions. Feeling a little relieved. "Yeah. It's not. It's just to keep this clingy boy from bugging me every time I come here." You say feeling a little embarrassed.

"Oh that's grea- I mean um, I see. Well um, I could always company you on trips here or maybe anywhere else too." Peter says smiling. "Sounds lovely." You say as he helped you pick up the books on the table ready to leave for a nice walk.
