[Trigger warning: Violence.]
Being Tom Holland's assistant is not an easy job but it is also one of the best jobs I have been in. It was bit of a surprise that I got it despited my low hearing. I was grateful and happy with the job. Tom's a sweet guy. His small hand gestures he makes when talking and the little pouts he makes when the director says something. I think to myself as I stare at him while trying to make a nice cup of coffee.
"How are you doing on this boring Saturday morning my lady?" He asks taking a muffin from the tray. "Good." I reply softly. "There's a new coffee shop opened down the street. I would love to take you there." He says but I only heard a few words. I smile and nod at him. "That's great." He says running off.
Later that day as we all started to pack to get home I see Tom walking towards me.
"Hey, something came up today. I'll take you there tomorrow." Tom says. "I'm sorry, what?" I ask. "Um, tomorrow." He says leaving me confused.
-Tom's P.O.V-
Y/n seem to be rather confused or clueless when I talk to her. I really like her but I keep getting a feeling that she might not like me back but I don't know. Snapping out of my thoughts I see Y/n walking towards the set. "Y/n! Y/n!" I yell waving my hand up but she just walked away. Maybe she didn't hear me but everyone else did and they looked at me like I was crazy.
After about three hours into the photoshoot the director calls it cut with the loud noises coming from outside. Before anyone could figure out what's going on gun shots echoed through the building. People start to panic and run. I look around to find Y/n but she was nowhere in sight. I walk around the said calling her name.
"Y/n!!" I say as I see her hiding behind a wall. She looked more confused than scared. I scream out for her to run but she just looked at me with a blank look. I begin to run towards her but she has gotten shot in the abdomen before I could save her.
-Y/n's P.O.V-
I wake up to a bright light and soft whispers around me.
"Y/n you are awake!" I hear Tom say from far away. I stare at him surprised that I heard it loud and clear. I hear Tom freak out and whisper to the doctor. "Ms. Y/n had a slight hearing problem before but its all fixed now. That's probably why she is a bit surprised." The doctor says. Tom leaves a breath of relief.
"Y/n you scared me." He says taking a seat next to me. "I'm sorry." I say with a nervous laugh. "Also um, do you like um, maybe, want to go out sometime?" He asks biting his lip in the end. "I would love that. "I reply.
