"Babe?" He asks munching on a crisp as I reply a simple hmm. "Are we having a boy? You kept blue converses that day." He speaks with a mouthful of crisps. "I don't know. I did keep something pink too but I can't remember." I say not looking away from my book. "So when can we know? We have to announce it as well. Plus the fact that you are pregnant too." He says. "Maybe next week." I reply.
Ever since telling Tom I was pregnant didn't go well I didn't really bother to post any on any of my social medias. "So when is the next doctor's appointment?" He asks again. "Next week." I reply closing the book I was reading. He simply nods.
"Hello! How have you been doing?" Asks the doctor once I get comfortable on the small high bed. "Good." I reply with a smile. Tom seems more nervous than I am. I stare at him for a while and he just pretends to be chill. "Alright. Want to know the gender of the baby?" She asks. "Oh no I can't look." Says Tom before I could answer. "Umm.. Can you check and write it down on a piece of paper instead of telling us? We want to be surprised as the others too." I say. While the doctor checked I kept my eyes shut and when it was done she gave us an envelope. "Thank you doctor. Alright. This is going to Harrision." Tom says before leaving the hospital.
"OHMYGOD YOU GUYS!! I'M SO EXCITED!! ITS A-" We shut Harrison up before he could yell out the gender. He stays quiet. "Harrison, we want you to do us a favour. You are the only one that knows the gender of the baby. I want you to get a big black balloon with either grey or purple confetti in it according to the gender." I say. "Grey and Purple?" Tom asks. "Yeah. Everyone always use Pink and blue so let's do it differently." I say. Tom nods his head. "Oh and also get some snacks cause we are having a small event to announce this." Tom finishes as Harrison nods his head.
"Everything set, love?" Tom asks. "I'm so nervous. What will your fans think? What if they hate me? Oh no!" I start to freak out. "Y/n, calm down. Don't worry. Just breath okay?" He says kissing my forehead.
"Guys!! I got the balloon!!" Harrison screams from the living room. "So where is everyone?" He asks. "Well we just invited Tom's parents and some from his cast and video call to my parents." I say. Harrison gives me a hug as he figured out I was a bit down since my parents couldn't come. "Shall we live this?" Tom asks. "Sure." I reply trying not to sound nervous.
"Hey guys! I know how you guys always complain saying I don't stay live for long well this is gonna be long. We.. umm.. actually have a big announcement for you guys and we are sorry that we didn't announce this sooner but we had some things to be taken care of and-" Toms speaking was interrupted by the door bell ringing. "I'll get that." Harrison screams out. "Harrison seems more excited." Tom says giggling. In came Zendaya and the rest of his mates. "Woah what's this for?" She asks almost touching the balloon. "Don't touch it!!" Screams Harrison and Tom both. Tom puts his phone on the stand so that his fans can see the whole event. Later came in his parents and we all chatted for a while. I looked at the number of views on the screen and almost fainted. "I'm so nervous." I say dragging Tom to a corner with me. "Baby, relax. If anything goes wrong I'm here to fix it. Okay?" He says kissing my forehead again.
"Alright people! Its time to know what's in the balloon! Y/n come here." He says dragging me closer to him. "So we found out something a few months ago and we are sorry that it took some time to say this but we had some things to be taken care of. Well, umm, Y/n is pregnant!" He screams the last part with excitement. The room soon filled with excitement and we had to calm them down. "Only Harrison knows the gender of the baby and we are gonna know with you guys." He says pointing at his phone as well. "Ready? Oh and Thank you Harrison for all this." Tom says. Everyone counted to 3 and we popped the balloon to see purple conffetti falling down. "Oh my god! ITS A GIRL!!!" We both scream as the rest of them joined in giving us hugs. "Congratulations!!" Can be heard from here and there. After another hour we finally got to chill on the sofa. The live stream over and the place in a mess. "Well it was nice helping you guys and Tom is incharge of cleaning it up so bye. Have a lovely day. Hi to the baby girl." Harrison speaks in one breath before rushing out the door.
I turn to Tom to indicate him to start cleaning up but he pretends to be asleep. "I know you are awake Holland." I say. He opens one eye and frowns.
