You tap your pencil on the edge of the book earning a weird stare from a girl sitting next to you. Mouthing a sorry you place your pencil down and try to focus on the last five minutes left in the lecture.
As soon as the class was dismissed you start packing your bag. You got an hour break before the next class started. Sudden screams of excitement could be heard from the hall but you paid no attention. Walking out of the classroom you see Tom with a group of people stopping by to take some pictures and sign their books.
"Hey babe." He says jogging towards you. His hair in a little mess as if he had just been playing around with some puppies in a field. "What are you doing here?" You ask as he takes the books you were carrying. "It's my break time and I know it's your break time too so I thought I would join you for lunch." He says.
"You do know on days like this I usually pack my own lunch and bring. Right?" You say. "Of course and that's why I got mine packed too." He says picking up a brown paper bag that was clearly from a cafe. "You didn't make it." You say. "Well,I umm, no. I would have but you know." He says mumbling up words.
Tom joins you outside the open area at your college. A few students were seated on the grass going through their text books studying for an exam. Some were seated on the benches chatting with their friends.
"You packed up salad for lunch?" Tom ask raising an eyebrow. "I must have forgotten to pack the other container." You say leaving a soft sigh. "It's okay. You have been working too hard on assignments that you forgot. Have mine." He says offering his lunch.
"When does the next class start?" He asks putting the wrappers back in the paper bag to throw it away. "In like 15 minutes but first I have to go return those books to the library." You say checking your watch and pointing towards the books next to Tom. "Alright let's go." He says jumping up and walking you to the library.
He walks back to the class you have to attend. Before you could enter he softly grabs your finger making you walk backwards. "Call me when you are done and I will come pick you up. Okay?" He says to which you nod and he takes his chances of the empty hallway to steal a quick kiss from you.
