I roll around the bed not being able to fall asleep. Sighing I get up as I make myself towards the kitchen. "Why am I craving chocolate cake when I don't have chocolate cake." I say going through the cabinets. I found the ingredients and neatly place them on the kitchen counter.

Tom was fast asleep after a busy day. "3 eggs." I say placing the cake mix box and walking to get the eggs. Breaking the eggs into the bowl, I add the other ingredients and start mixing it softly humming the tune of an old song.

Pouring the batter into the pan and setting up the oven. I wait till it heats up before putting the tray for baking. Now to wait till its baked. I grab a book and hop onto the stool by the kitchen island as I begin to hear someone mumbling. "Love, what are you doing?" It's 2 in the morning." Tom asks as he stood half asleep at the doorway. "I got hungry." I say. He joins me at the table placing his head on the counter top as he softly dozed off mumbling.

"Is it done?" He asks popping his head up with the sound of the oven timer sound. "Yeah. Let it cool s bit first." I say.

Cutting up the cake I place small pieces on the plate while Tom poured two glasses of milk. His sleepiness all gone now. "Let's make some cookies." He says. "Now?" I ask taking a bite from the cake. "You baked a cake so why not bake cookies." He says with a little shrug.

"Since I baked the cake, why don't you bake the cookies?" I suggest. "No. You bake them." He says.

The next half an hour went on us arguing who was going to bake the cookies. "Let's just both do it? You'll mix it and I'll bake them." I suggest. He sits quiet for a while thinking about the idea. "Alright that's fair enough." He says jumping off the stool to gather the ingredients as I put away the empty plate and glasses.

"Lots of chocolate chips." He says pouring the whole bag of chocolate chips into the mix before I could stop him. "It's your turn now love." He says.

We wait setting it up in the oven. "How many more hours to go?" He asks putting his head on the counter again. "Just one more round." I say looking at his head. "But it's taking so much of tiiiiiiime." Tom whines.

Suddenly he get his head up looking at me with a smirk. "I know what we can do." He says. "No." I say. "C'mon Y/n. We'll be done when the last batch will be done." He says. "It's 3:30am Tom." I say. "There is no time for that you know." He says resting his head on his right hand looking towards me. "No." I say again. He puts his head down with a pout. I laugh as I get up to put the last set of cookies in the oven.
