You were at your daily shift working at the small diner at the corner of the street. You carefully place the empty milkshake glasses on the black tray before taking them behind the counter to wash them. As you kept the washed glasses the whole place started to shake. Crashing some of the glasses and a window. Everyone runs to hide while some runs outside to see what's happening.
Rocks and cars were been levitated off the ground and swung at the opposite direction. "Peter." You say softly as you run towards the two aliens that were fighting with Iron Man and Doctor Strange. Before you could get any closer Bruce pushes you aside. "Don't. It's too dangerous." He says moving you to the side of the building as a hiding spot. "Where's Peter?" You ask. Before he could answer you spot Peter on the space flying up. "PETER!!!!!" You scream out his name which catches his attention. "TAKE HER TO BUCKY!! Stay safe!" He says before vanishing into the clouds. "Nooo!!" You scream out crying. "We have to go contact Steve." Bruce says helping you get up.
He takes you to the Avengers facility to keep you safe before going to find and help Steve. You nervously bit your nails as you paced around the space looking outside with panic.
Soon everyone was back at the Avengers facility. Steve, Natasha, Sam, Bruce and James. They were talking about going to Wakanda to remove the stone on Visions forehead. In the midst of the conversation Steve spots you crying by the window. He walks towards you giving you a bug hug which made you cry even more. "It's okay. We are going to try whatever we can to get him back okay." He says leaving a kiss on your forehead for assurance. He was like your big brother. Well, the most protective one next to Bucky.
"We have to leave soon. Before Thanos could get all the stones." He says the last part in a whisper.
"Y/n!!" You hear Bucky call out as he spots you in the grounds of Wakanda. He runs as fast as he could picking you up and giving you a tight hug. "New arm?" You question. "Yeah." He says moving it around.
Everyone started to gather around the protected border. "Go inside now." Bucky says. "I can fight." You argue. "I know you can but I'm not risking any chances of losing you too." He says looking directly into your eye. You nod your head as you run to the opposite direction but failing as the fights had gotten worse causing you to hide behind a rock. Instead of going towards the building running in the open you decide to crawl behind the rocks and out of the protective border into the trees.
Thor wounds Thanos after he killed Vision. You were trying your best to hide without getting noticed. You covered your mouth as you cried.
After Thanos had snapped his fingers and teleported away you run out from your hiding spot and towards the others where some were wounded and some were trying to relax. "BUCKY!!! NOOO!!!" You scream out crying as you see Bucky disintegrate. His guns falls down and you fall on your knees as you see several others get disintegrated.
Steve runs to your broken figure getting exhausted from crying. He didn't know what to say to make you feel better. To tell you that everything would be fine but he wasn't sure himself either. Nobody was sure of anything anymore. Half of their family was gone.
