"Harry, can you look after Emily while I do some calls?" I say holding a hyper Emily. "Sure." He replies before going to play with her. "Do you know where your brother is?" I ask. He shrugs before running off. I dial Tom's number but no response.
"Harrison, you have to pick up the cake from the bakery while I go get the decorations. Okay?" I say out of breath. "Y/n, just stay calm. Breath. Me and Sam will do all those. Just stay at home okay?" He says rubbing my back to calm down. I nod. "Oh and do you know where Tom is?" I ask. He shrugs frowning a bit. "Where is he anyway?" He asks Sam before shutting the door behind him.
"Y/n you really need to calm down a bit. Everything will be fine." Tom's mom says joining us in the living room. Harry was playing with Emily and him being the photographer, is also taking pictures at the same time. "Now Harry don't get your camera full now." His mom says. I excuse myself to the room and call Tom again. Still no reply.
"We got the stuff." Sam says carrying a box of decorations while Harrison walked in with the cake. "Haz, Tom isn't answering the phone." I say worried making sure no one else heard it. "Y/n, don't worry. Maybe he is busy or something." He says. I nod. We put up the decorations in the living room for Emily's first birthday party. It is an Alice in Wonderland party. (Oh god no. It will never be a frozen party.) Me being the crafty girl made some crafts to make the party more amazing. Well guess you can say its a tea party.
"Now everyone will be here in an hour or so. Is everything ready?" I say. "Where is Tom today?" His mom asks coming to realize that her son hasn't been here all day. "I don't know. Maybe he is caught up at work." I say trying to hide my dissappointment. We tune into a random channel on the TV as we wait for the guests. I, however, was busy arranging the table.
/TOM HOLLAND IS SEEN AT THE AIRPORT CARRYING A SUITCASE AS HE WALK ALONE. IS HE ABANDONING HIS WIFE AND DAUGHTER TO RUN OFF?/
Some guy on the tv says as pictures of Tom at the airport shows. I stand frozen. "Abandon? Why can't they ever have a good headline? He will never abandon Y/n or Emily." His mom says with anger. I run to the room crying while I dial Tom's number again. Now his phone is switched off. "Y/n, sshh.. shh... I'm sure he is not leaving you like this." Harrison says hugging me. "Y/n, honey, I'm sorry but the guests are here." His mom says poking her head into the room carrying Emily. "Let's go." Harrison says walking out the room with me.
I chat with some of the guests as I serve them some goodies. "These are delicious." Says one.
"Tom?" I say as I see Tom standing by the door. I start to walk towards him to ask him questions but stops. My parents walked up behind him. "Mom. Dad?" I say running towards them giving them a big hug. "Oh Tom thank you. The news said you were abandoning us." I say in tears again. Happy tears this time. "Y/n, I told you not to believe those. Just call me okay." He says. "I did. You never picked up." I say. "Its in the car. Maybe switched off with no charge by now." He says. I not giggling at his expressions. "Here." Harry says handing Emily to me. "Mom, Dad. This is Emily." I say. "Aww.. She looks so adorable." They say.
"Shall we cut the cake now?" I say. We cut the cake and served the guests. After a few hours the party ended and Emily has fallen asleep. "I'll tuck her in." Tom says carrying Emily to her room.
"I bet she got a wonderful birthday." I say looking at my parents. "Thanks to Tom that we get to be here today." They say. "Well, we would love to stay but too tired from the long flight. We'll see you tomorrow." They say. I nod before saying goodbye. "I'll drop you guys." Tom says rushing out the room with his keys. "I'll see you in a bit." He says giving a small peck.
"Pictures to instagram?" Harry says finally. "Yes please." I say as we both decide on who to post which picture.
