The cries of the baby made Tom groan as he forced himself to roll over to check the clock. It was only 7:30am as he rested his arm over his forehead before getting up from the bed and making his way to the baby's crib. Y/n had gone early for a doctor's appointment with his mom, leaving Tom with the three week old baby. "Hey, Theo. Morning for you already?" He says carrying the infant on his arm and carefully placing him on the changing table. "How can a baby that only has milk dirty their nappy so much." He says almost gagging with the smell. "There you go. All new." He says pulling down on the small t-shirt covering the baby's belly. "Now stay in your crib while daddy go freshened up okay?" He says putting Theo back in his crib.
Halfway through Tom washing his hair he starts to hear Theo cry again. "Just a few minutes." He yells through the shut door.
He gets out and puts on some casual clothes before walking towards the crib again. "I bet you give mommy a hard time too huh?" He says with a smile to the end as the baby just laughs. "Now that you are laughing, I will dry up my hair real quick." He says grabbing the towel and placing it over his head. Theo begins to cry as he wasn't able to see Tom again. "Alright. Alright. I'm here. Let's go have breakfast." He says giving up and carrying the baby to the kitchen.
He heats up the baby bottle and waits at the kitchen island for the bottle to cool down a little. Theo stretched his arms and legs in Tom's hold as he leaves out small yawn. "Here's your breakfast." Tom says moving the baby bottle to Theo's mouth.
As usual after a meal was done, Tom tried to burp Theo but unfortunately it ended up with Theo's breakfast all over Tom's shirt. "Let's gets us both cleaned up." Tom says getting up and heading towards the bathroom.
"Okay we are all done. Let's go see uncle Harrison. Got my bag. Got your bag. You are nicely strapped onto me so please don't puke on daddy again." He says giving the baby the puppy eyes.
"What happened to you?" Harrison asks as Tom made his way inside his apartment. "It's the baby." Tom says putting the bags on the single sofa before taking out the straps to remove Theo. "He's sleeping." Harrison says in a whisper as Theo indeed was sleeping.
Tom joins Harrison in the kitchen after putting Theo on the bed. "Coffee?" He asks as Tom just drops his head onto the kitchen counter with a nod. "I don't know how Y/n does all these." He says. "Welcome to fatherhood." Harrison says with a laugh as he placed a hot cup of coffee for both of them.
