It has been a month since you left me alone. Luckily my injury is so grevious that I have been living a life of oblivion. There are days I am unconscious and nights where I am the happiest.

My nightmares start where my dreams end. The moment I wake up, life is a nightmare, because you aren't here. The moment I close my eyes, it's a beautiful illusion because you're there. You are always there. Countless of memories, I can create with you. Your eternal smile only for me to cherish and adore.

Your Chenqing and it's melody for me to hear and enjoy and together we duet your lips and my undisputed joy.

Wei, I haven't spoken to anyone bearing Lady Zhi Ruo, who has been kind to inform me that A Yuan is out of danger. His fever has come down and now brother has adopted him as a Lan Disciple. Somehow he has convinced my uncle and has named him Sizhui.

These days my only companion are WuJi, but seems Wu's is not at pink of his health. He has become quite and often snuggles beside me. Ji is concerned. Why wouldn't he be? After all his partner is suffering. Is it sad to say that I understand them?

"Wangji" a soft voice behind the screen door calls for my attention and my eyes widen.

Brother!

"Wangji" he pauses "if you can hear me, please give me an indication" I detect extreme sadness in brothers voice.

"Brother" I whisper, you're not supposed to be here.

I hear him sit on the other side of the screen and hear a soft thump of his head against the wall.

"I can't even ask you, how you are, Can I?" He sighs "Wangji, I won't ever ask you, why did you choose to go against Lan Clan. That's your decision and you accepted the consequences, but Wangji, you're my baby brother, how can this heart who has raised you, watch you suffer?" His voice is now coarse.

"Wangji, there is something I need to inform you about" at that my heart beats falter.

What?

"After the incident at Nightless City and the Siege in Burial Mountain, Yunmeng Sect Leader Jiang Cheng searched high and low to find any remains of Young Master Wei" he takes a deep breath "except Chenqing, nothing was found"

What?

"Jiang Cheng has confiscated the Chenqing and Young Master Wei's Suibian is with A Yao, the Lan Lingjin Sect".

They took away his prized possession too? Was there nothing left of him? Nothing for me?

"Wangji?" My brother's heavy voice breaks my heart.

"I'm here. I heard" I reply.

What could I say? Throw tantrums? Wail? Cry?

Aren't I doing that enough already?

"I need to leave. If you have any message for me or want to ask me anything, just..." He trails off and I look away from the screen. Moment later he whispers "Happy Birthday, Wangji". I hear him leave and I close my eyes.

Why don't they ever allow me to be at peace? Everyone has a piece of you, I only have memories.

I welcome the oblivion yet again and there you are. Your warmth embracing me and together we walk away from this grotesque, to enter a zen of oneness and togetherness.
