Entering our guest rooms, I look around and find a table with soft adjacent futons. Pouring a glass of liquor for himself, he places it on the table. Taking out a Paperman, my heart falls. He's going to transfer his conscious into the paper.
Before he could draw the incantation, I catch hold of his wrist.
"Lan Zhan?" He questions and my heart beats for the man in front of me. I just got you back, Wei.Ying. How can this heart allow itself to be calm? "You're aware of the consequences?" I enquire, what he is planning to do can have grave repercussions.
Understanding my plight, he gently places his other hand on mine and with a soft voice he adresses the issue "Lan Zhan, I understand your concern, transferring my concious onto the paper, I need to be careful that no one tampers it. If they do, my soul would forever be perished, but Lan Zhan" he pauses "there is no other way" he whispers.
Looking into his eyes, that very moment, I wanted to hug him. Embrace him forever. Keep him safe in my heart. How long are you going to place someone else above you? Aren't you ever going to take care of yourself? Doesn't your life mean a thing to you? I laugh inwardly. This is Wei Ying. My Wei Ying. He'll always keep everyone above him. With a heavy sigh, I look at the Wei in front of me. Gently picking him up, I place his head on my lap. Summoning Wangji, I let my core strum the chords and my hands are free to caress the face of my Wei Ying. As Wangji's music would not let the Paperman Wei deviate too much, it would always centre himself back to the task at hand.
