Lan Zhan's Untamed (Lan Zhan x Wei Wuxian)

Second Siege

Bichen in my hand, we hear a whimper and then the roar of a monster in front of us. Without another word, Wen Ning jumps in front of us and defeats the monster which leads to many more corpses attacking us from various directions.

"They are controlled by the Tiger Seal" Wei warns "the ones which are under my command, can never come under the influence of the Tiger Seal and the ones owned by the Tiger Seal cannot be influenced by me" he looks over his shoulders.

The blue glare of the Bichen fights against the  herd of corpses in front of us and we successfully defeat them for now. Unexpectedly we hear some human noises inside the cave and Wei Ying looks at me, before he enters I stop him.

"Lan Zhan?" He looks at me nonplussed and I hand him his Suibian. With a sad smile he accepts it and we enter the cave. My steps falter as I remember the number of times I have entered this cave, and reminisced my time I had spent an eternity ago. Not thinking about the past when I have my soul standing right in front of me, we walk towards the direction where the human noises could be heard.

It's when I hear Sizhui's voice that my heart falls. What is he doing here? Walking towards them, my eyes widen when I see all the young disciples of Lan and various other sects tied together in a deity binding rope.

"Hey, stop fighting" Jingyi yells "if you make too much noise, those corpses would be back."he pauses and shakes his head "I wish that's better than starving to death. Well keep fighting, atleast this way, I won't starve".

"Shut up" one of the Lan Lingjin Sect's member shouts at Jingyi.

"Hey don't talk to him like that" another kid yells.

"Well this is all that Wei Dog's fault. If he didn't come back none of this would be happening!" The kid from Lan Lingjin Sect shouts again.

"Shut up, Jin Chan" Jin Ling yells.

"What do you mean shut up? Don't tell me you're supporting him, you son of nobody" Jin Chan retorts and soon a fight breaks out. Sizhui who tried to calm the situation was dragged in and he too started retaliating.

Wei's eyes widen as he looks at me with laughter brimming in his eyes. He turns back to the crowd and I stand back. This should be interesting to watch.

"What's happening here?" His voice echoes around the cave and nearly all the chatter and fights come to a stand still.

"Hanguang-Jun!" Jingyi and Sizhui exclaim happily.

"Hey, why are you so happy? That man is our enemy. He's with Yiling Patriarch!" Jin Chan spits and Jingyi kicks that disciple "Shut your nonsense. Don't talk about Hanguang-Jun and Senior Mo that way, you piece of shit" he immediately turns to look at me expecting me to chide him for using discourteous words. I don't pay attention. Just this one time kid, I'll excuse you.

"Quiet everyone" Wei Ying yells and throws Suibian behind his back. Wen Ning is quick to catch it and walks upto where the kids are tied. With one slash, they're freed. Many of the faces are known ones from Yi City. One being the Young Master from OuYang Sect ZiZhen, same kid who was burning cash money with Sizhui in the village "Thank you for saving us" he smiles.

"Yes, Hanguang-Jun and Senior Mo, thank you for saving us" Sizhui smiles kindly. Walking towards me, he bows "How do we escape? There are corpses that have surrounded this place?"

"I'll look after them" Wen Ning bows and walks out of the cave.

As Wei makes his way to us and looks at Sizhui and Jingyi "Good good, even Sizhui knows to fight" he teases as Sizhui blushes. I smile inwardly. This is good. They need to spend time. A faint noise trudging towards us has me turning my back to find Jin Ling standing in front of Wei. "Don't tell me you want to stab him again?" Jingyi hisses.
