"Wei Ying" my heart thunders as he turns and his smile makes me realise, he is mine and I cannot fathom living without him.
"Lan Zhan" his eyes shimmer in surprise "are you here for real or am I hallucinating?"
"I am here for you. Only you" oh my sweet Wei Ying.
"Are you ready to cross the bridge or" he pauses reigning his emotions "are you a passerby?".
His questions rips my heart our and so striding to where he is, I take his face in my palms and confess my heart with utmost sincerity "Long ago I crossed the bridge Wei Ying. I was never a passerby in your life my love. Even always and forever is an undefined term for I want eternity and beyond with you" I gently press my lips against his and he shudders.
Melting under my kiss his arms band around my waist and pulls me flush against him and we kiss. Kiss for the lost time. Kiss for what could have been us, but more so we kiss for the future.
"Lan Zhan" his voice is coarse "ask me" and I do, this time I was not worried about his answer.
"Wei Ying, will you come back to Gusu with me?" I kiss his forehead and he grins "Yes". I pull him for a hug. He's finally in my arms.
"Oh Lan Zhan, Lil'Apple's in the Yiling City" he looks worried and I smile "don't worry, I already sent a disciple to bring him back to Gusu. Shall we?" I mount my Bichen and give him my hand and he happily takes it.
