Heartbroken Prt.2

I lost the heartbroken challenge right when Monte waited for me outside the classroom.

So, now let's go over Jayden's heartbreak journey. I will just say he went a bit overboard. Why did he want to be heartbroken? I will never know.

This day was not only filled with embarrassment. It was also filled with tears. Oh, so many tears. Also, forgot to mention it was all Jayden's fault. He still never got in trouble.

After the stunt Jayden pulled with Monte and me, he went on his way to feel the ache he desired so much. He started with Emily. It was quite disastrous.

It went down like this:

The teacher had stepped out for a quick moment, and Jayden thought it was his chance to get rejected, not knowing that Emily is obsessed with him. We were all sitting in our group, and Jayden says, "Emily, can I talk to you," I immediately try to signal Jayden out of it, but he didn't catch my glance. Emily replies, "talk." Jayden also meant alone so, me trying to move on from this awkwardness was like "Em.." and I gave her a look. You just know the look the best friends give each other that they can read. She got the memo eventually, unlike Jayden.

They got up and talked on the other side of the room. I saw Emily go from 0 to 100 quickly. She was filled with joy to anger and then sadness. She threw a fit. All I will say is that a couple of desks were pushed over. At least I wasn't the one who got in trouble.

So Jayden didn't exactly have a crush on anyone, and no girl turned him down. It all ended the same. Tears. Jayden would ask a girl to hang out with them. They would say yes, Jayden would get annoyed and scream in their face. You get the idea. If you thought Jayden would get in trouble for this, you are dead wrong.

I would've thought he would give up, did he? No. Jayden figured that he needed to find a girl who had no feelings for him at all. That girl unsurprisingly was me. Madison Aden. Honestly the most embarrassing day of my life.

Jayden walked up to me and asked me to sit with him on the bus home. I declined his request. I always sat with Komal on the way home. Since he felt nothing, the challenge was not over. He tried again and again. I was getting annoyed. Finally, I asked Jayden, "don't you think to feel heartbroken. You actually need to have feelings for someone?" I have never regretted saying anything so badly in my life. "Great idea Mads." He called me Mads. No one has ever called me that before. It was always Madison this or Madison that. I think I could get used to being called Mads.

This was the start of Jayden forcing himself to have a crush on me. It was a real drag.

Whenever I wanted to go to the water fountain, he would too, just to be my partner. He would tie my shoes. He would compliment me. It was crazy because I am 100% sure he was enjoying this a bit too much. Jayden is musically gifted, and he always brought his guitar to class. It was like a good luck charm.

It was free-time. He grabbed his guitar and started singing, I'm yours by Jason Mraz. Then he asked me again, the whole class was listening too. I pretty much screamed in his face that he was crazy.

I had never felt more embarrassed about anything ever. After my screaming, Mrs. Gardner did tell me to quiet down and Jayden was hurt by my irrational response.

Finally, this stupid challenge was over. James never really talked about what happened to him. Jayden just said he asked Emily and she rejected him. I never knew he liked Emily. I also never questioned Emily on the issue.

I also never questioned Emily on the issue
