A/N; I figured that all my POV chapters are always the longest so enjoy.
Connection
Madison's POV
Jayden and I have an unbelievable connection its insane.
We have moments when we are so in sync, it's a bit scary.
The scariest moments between us would have to be dreams.
Not like the, I dream that when I'm older, I'll be famous.
I mean like, dreams and nightmares.
One night I had a crazy dream. It was bugging me for a long time. The same day Jayden and I hung out and we were both in some sort of a strange mood. We both had crazy thoughts running through our heads. The previous night we had both had dreams. They were not the easiest to decipher the meaning of them too.
When we both decided to talk about our dreams I started first by saying, "I was at home in my basement."
Jayden stopped me immediately and said, "in my dream was I was outside a house looking into a basement."
"That's a bit creepy don't ya think?" I asked him.
Jayden didn't answer me. He was thinking and making himself difficult to read. It didn't last long because his eyes soon flashed bright, meaning he had an idea.
He walked away.
Did he forget I was here?
Nope, he came back... with pens and paper.
Can't he just listen to what I have to say?
Jayden's POV
"That's a bit creepy don't ya think?"
...yeah I guess, but I wonder if this is connected. Madison and I have our fair share of 'coincidences' maybe this isn't one. I needed to test it. Saying our dreams out loud won't work because it can be misread as we are copying each other. We can write it down. A description of what happened in each dream. We'll each have 7 minutes to write down as much as we remember. Then we would compare them to see that this is no coincidence. Or our dreams have nothing to do with each other and I'm wasting time...
I leave the room and return with paper and some pens.
"Catch," I throw a red pen Madison's way.
"What's that for?" she asked.
"Write everything you remember from your dream. Don't say a word about it just write. Seven minutes I'll tell you to stop. Okay?"
Madison's POV
"...I'll tell you to stop. Okay?"
"Okay, I guess," I whispered.
I had no idea where Jay was going with this, but I'll trust him.
Jayden got up and distanced himself from me then said, "the clock starts now."
I started to write. My memory of dreams are usually great, although since I didn't really understand this one it was a bit harder to recall and explain. I remember actions, and colors. not words, I couldn't remember any speech at all. That may be a problem.
I was wearing red, red top, red pants. I was dancing, probably along to an exercise video.
I remember that there was a boy.
He had on a green shirt and blue pants. Yet, I couldn't see his face he had black hair in a quiff style, kinda like Jayden's at the moment.
