I agreed"Okay tell me all over again."
I groaned loudly. "Diamond I said it three times already!"
"Ma'am don't get an attitude, you're the one who called me." She said.
"Ugh, he came back. Then we were in my room talking and we kinda got into an argument." I said feeling exhausted.
She scoffed. "Yea that part was clear. I'm talking explain clearly what happened after you gave him a-"
Ugh. Blunt as ever. i cut her off.
"MONY THAT NEVER HAPPENED! I hope you know I'm mentally glaring at you. ANYWAYS, we just finished the conversation then he asked me to go out with him."
"AND YOU SAID YES?" She exclaimed.
"I agreed." I sighed. Pulling the phone away from my hear.
"OH MY GOSH! What did I say! I told you it would happen! I called it. Ray owes me 100 beans!"
Pulling the phone back to my ear, "you guys bet over us?"
"Yes! He really thought you would stand your ground." She laughed at me.
"Mony he doesn't owe you anything, Jayden is not my boyfriend."
"Psh. He will be."
"No, he won't."
She was giggling. Diamond doesn't giggle.
Metal facepalm.
"I am hanging up Mony, I don't want to hear whatever you and Raymond are doing."
"Bye Aden."
"Whatever." I hung up.
After Jayden and I had our little heart to heart yesterday, he asked me out and I agreed. I try everything at least once. Jayden thought I was joking because of how easily I excepted his offer.
Well, today was that day. Jayden was supposed to be at my house at 3 in the afternoon and it was 2:50. And I was sitting on my bed on my phone. With my hair braided covered with a bonnet.
I wasn't the type of girl who cared about my appearance much. Although I didn't know what to wear. Jayden wouldn't tell me where we were going.
Eventually, the doorbell rang. I walked down the stairs to get the door.
Jayden stood behind the door with a single red rose in hand.
"Cliché much Morgan?" I asked dryly.
He laughed at me, "well are you ready to leave?"
I-Did he not look at me, can he see?
"Jayden I'm not leaving my house wearing track shorts, a tank-top and a bonnet on my head."
"Why not?" He trailed his eyes down my attire. So I whacked him upside the head.
I glared at him, "so guys like you won't make it obvious that they are staring at me."
"Let me choose your outfit and I promise no guy will stare at you." He began thinking to himself.
"Uhhh how about no? I know you. You would probably dress me in a snowsuit that will cover every inch of my body head to toe."
"Can't blame a guy for trying." He came inside my home and dragged me to my room.
I flopped on my bed and Jayden went through my wardrobe. Naming out articles of clothing.
