Surprise prt. 1*Two days after the Morgan's returned home from their little trip in Canada. Jayden and Elizabeth returned to New York and William went back to the United Kingdom.*
Jayden's POV
It was dinner time and I was having a bit of trouble convincing Beth to let me leave for a week.
"Mum please sign the form." I had been begging my mom to sign this paper for almost two hours.
"Jayden you aren't going to mum, me into this," Beth told me.
"Please I'll do anything." I really would.
"Jayden, what is so important that you want to miss two weeks of school to be with James." She was getting irritated.
The downfall of going to this great school is that they start early. I am supposed to be in Massachusetts right now...Whose idea was it for them to start school in August.
"Trust me." I was exhausted.
"Darling, you know that you are the worst liar I have ever met." She stared me right in the eyes.
I turned pale.
"Did you tell her you are going?" She was finishing up her pasta.
"No, because I still haven't been given permission," I said stating the obvious.
"What is so important that you need to spend a week in Ontario, why not FaceTime Madison?" She got up to wash her dishes.
"I can't lose this time. I won't." I whispered.
"What do you mean by that?"
" I love her mum." I slapped my hand over my mouth as the words left me. I was doomed.
She stopped and turned around, looking at me dead in the eyes. "What?" Her English accent came out proudly, in her astonishment.
"I'm not going to say it again, you probably recorded me talking already. You will try to embarrass me or try and talk to me about things I already know about. You are an amazing mother but we do not have an ordinary relationship, Beth." I groaned after my explanation. This lady would kill me.
"You sound exactly like your father." She laughed. It was different. Like a pure kind of sound.
I can only thank Madison for making her happy again.
Beth let out a deep breath. "Jayden I'm only not letting you go because I can't take you."
"What if Jate takes me?" I was desperate.
"You are not spending nine hours in a car with Jate."
"Let me fly then."
"Jay-" she was cut off by the doorbell.
"I'll get it," I mumbled.
Kaitlyn and James.
Kaitlyn embraced my mom like the wannabe teenagers they are, James was tired of lugging luggage around.
"What are you all doing here?"
Kaitlyn faces me and answered my question. "Didn't you know? I thought you're mom told you we were visiting for two days."
"Beth?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Well darling you spent one hour trying to say what you want, then you spent almost three hours trying to get me to sign the extended absence from. When did you expect me to tell you?"
"Yesterday?"
"This was a very last-minute detour," Kaitlyn said.
"Where are you going?" James asked.
