Why does everyone think I'm going to marry that guy!
Today is the last day of my vacation. It's also a special someone's birthday.
Jayden has got the day off. He wants to sleep in... I have other plans.
I barge into his room and he groans loudly.
"DUDE! We're getting the band back together!" I have tons of energy this morning.
"Mads I appreciate you quoting Phineas and Ferb but please it's seven in the morning where are you rushing to?" He mumbles against his pillows.
I lay on him, "May I remind you that it's your Goddaughters birthday."
"F*ck"
"Jayden you're dirty mouth is disgusting!"
He sits up and I roll to the side of his bed.
"Don't act like you haven't cussed before. Now leave because I need to take a shower."
"Can I say what I want to say or are you going to like blush." I really wanna say it...
I can already see the tint of pink of his cheeks.
"Fine I won't say it but, 12-year-old you wouldn't even say a thing." I smirk.
"Well, I'm sorry twelve-year-old Jayden was bold enough to wrap himself in a towel and take off his clothes stepping into the shower while you were in the same room," He says speaking in the third person. His face is on fire.
"Alright crimson boy, I'll leave." I laugh walking away.
I really wanted to drive. Although Jayden stole my car keys. Including my spare set and practically carried me to his car.
On the road, we belt out our favourite throwback songs. James forbids us from getting the angel presents. And so I respect his parenting decisions.
When we pull up to the large house there was loud music and another car. The licence plate read JMS4444.
James wouldn't put that on a car, would he?
When Jay and I walk into the house we are blasted with confetti cannons. I think I went a little deaf.
I also may or may not have kicked one of the machines so hard it broke...
"Well, I should've seen that coming," James says walking out to greet us.
I immediately apologize. He said it was fine because it was only twenty bucks.
Where does someone get a confetti machine for twenty bucks?
Jayden goes wandering off somewhere. So James and I hang around the kitchen.
"Want a glass?" James says swirling around a bottle of wine.
"Xaiv, I don't drink."
"I've doubt you've tried it." He mutters.
I put a small smile on my face, "I haven't and I don't plan to."
He shakes his head, passing me a can of cherry soda.
He knows me so well.
"So do you have anything you want to tell me?" He asks.
Oh wow, beating around the bush now?
"I think the licence plate on that car outside is hilarious," I say.
"Hahaha. So fUnNY. I did buy that car for my mom though."
My ears perk up. "She's here? Where is she?" I stand up from the kitchen stool.
