Seventh grade
It's the first day of school. I started seventh grade today. I was prepared, it was nothing new to me. I can say I was not very excited because all I thought about was going to the park after school to meet Jayden.
As we've grown we've gotten a lot closer, Jay and I did everything together, well almost everything. We would talk every day. A day without each other was a drag.

Jayden and I stopped going to school together after the third grade. I continued to go to a public school, while he went to a private school with James.
James and I were still great friends yet, we did not have that connection, Jayden and I had.
The first day of school was always the same, go to school, find your teacher, meet your class, and get settled in while getting to know each other all over again. I was accustomed to the routine.
Luckily, my seventh-grade homeroom teacher was the same teacher I have had in the fourth grade. His name was Mr. Dennis, he was one of my favourite teachers. He liked to tell stories, be fun. He also had a serious side, which was the perfect balance of his job. He loved teaching kids, it was as simple as that.
After my basic first day of school. I rushed to the park, where I knew Jayden would be waiting at our place.
There were about 5 parks within our community. Our favourite was Castle park. Then the alien park. Next the pirate park, after that the close train station park. Finally the jungle park.
Jay and I would also have a special place at each park we would meet at. We both first met each other at the pirate, so we usually met there, on the hill by the trees, where we talked throughout the day. The pirate park also rarely has visitors during the early to mid-afternoon. It was perfect for us not to be bothered.
As I approached the pirate park, I did not see Jayden at our place. Jay is never late. Although, that was my last suspicion. He was trying to scare me. Jayden is very good at hiding, and appearing out of nowhere. The thing that Jay should have noticed over the summer is that I have established very fast and natural reflexes, they go off when I'm triggered. Scaring me is most definitely one of those triggers. If someone scares me out of nowhere my first reaction is a palm or fist to their face. Let's say Jayden learned that the hard way.
No, he was not hit in the face, because right when my arm left my side, he dodge my punch and turned going behind me. Sucks for him my adrenaline was up because I still had scare run through my body. He was behind me. My leg got in between his and tripped him, making him fall fast on his back.
"Okay, I deserved that," Jayden said as he got off of the ground. He tried to hug me, I pushed him away as I was angry with him about the little stunt he was trying to pull. "Mads," Jay says, as he faces me and holds my head up to look in his eyes. "I'm sorry. Forgive me," he continues making his infamous puppy dog face. I knew I was not angry with him, but I also did not want to let him know that. I did let it go. No one wants to be a bummer on such a nice day.
So, Jayden and I did what we always did at the park, talk. It was nice when all we did was talk. No distractions, we were both so comfortable with one another.
Jayden loved to lay back on the grass. I was not that type of person. The thought of dirt and possibly ants on my shirt was not a good image. Jayden also loves his hair, and never wants anything in it. Therefore I sit up cross-legged, he lays back and places his head in my lap.
