It's hard explaining things that give me bad memories or poor feelings.
Beth is strong for everything she went through. She is also very smart. She was born in the UK but was sent to live with her aunt in America to go to school there. Beth was so ahead that she skipped 4 grades and graduated high school at the age of 14. Then she moved back in with her parents to attend Cambridge to complete her doctorate of education. Then at the age of 18, she went to Oxford to get her doctorate of psychology.
She was able to get married to William at the age of 20. Then she had Jayden at 23 when she finished school. At the time, William was 29 and almost done his training for becoming an independent surgeon.
Beth's work ethic is amazing. She is strong-willed. Even while she broke down while telling me what happened with her and William she was determined to finish her story.
I guess that's why she was so suspicious and devastated when she read my journal years ago. It was because she had been there herself. I guess she feared people for a bit before moving on.
That's why she was able to connect with me on a personal level. It took me a while but the dots were finally connected.
