Hey, I'm Madison Aden, looks like you found my journal from when I was a kid. Everything in there helped me become who am today, with the contribution of my best friend Jayden Morgan, who was able to let me see life from a new light.

James, Madison, and Jayden the trio of musketeers... but you know there are actually four musketeers. To them it was Marq.
(A/N: There will be a couple of mentions of Marq throughout the book. Here's his story from Madison's point of view.)

Marq
I don't want to forget him.
Marq. He was so special and dear to my heart. I met Marq through Jayden. Marq was like Jayden's brother.
Marq grew up in a foster home. He was left at the doorstep as a baby. He had a hard life, though, he always tried to stay positive.
Marq was different from all the boys I knew. He was mature and appreciated everything given to him. He loved reading and writing just as I did. James, Jayden, Marq, and I were so close, even when some of us drifted from each other.
Jayden was close to Marq. I was closer. I did eventually developed some feelings for Marq, and he had feelings for me too. Although he always put Jayden first. Marq looked up to Jayden, and to Marq, Jayden was his hero. He was his big brother.
Marq and I both knew each other's feelings for each other but pushed them away for the sake of our friend group.
Unfortunately, his life was cut short. On July 13, 2011, there was a hit and run accident. Marq was on his way to meet up with me. He was hit and died on impact. He was 10 years old. He never got the chance to grow up, go to high school. He will never get married. He will never have that experience.

I never really grieved. It's been years. He deserved so much more. I would do almost anything to get him back.
