It was the morning, I had a couple of late-night messages from Jayden.

2:06 am

Jxm - text me as soon as you wake up, we need to talk.

Jxm- I cannot believe this I am related to this man

Jxm- I am so sorry Mads, you don't deserve this.

I was kind of worried about what he needed to talk about.

Mads_aden - Jayden?

Jxm- Madison rest. We'll talk later.

Mads_aden- No, talk now.

Jxm- Its too early.

Mads_aden- If it's too early why are you awake.

Jxm- I've been up for hours Mads, please go back to sleep.

Mads_aden- you know you're not winning this so talk.

Jxm- William is a pathetic father figure, I looked up to him. All my work and achievements were all for him.

Mads_aden- Backtrack. What happened?

Jxm- How do you think of him?

Mads_aden- He is human.

Jxm-You are sugarcoating.

Mads_aden- What do you want me to say?

Jxm- What's in your head. I know what you want to say. You are too nice and don't want to hurt anyone's feelings by telling them the truth.

Mads_aden- That's not true.

Jxm- Then say it, I was there. I heard what he said.

Mads_aden- no.

Jxm- Madison, I never went to sleep after we spoke, my parents were arguing over you. I heard everything. William thinks you are using me, he does not approve of my feelings towards you simply because you have a dark complexion. Apparently it's my fault I never told him you are brown-skinned. It wasn't an important factor for me.

Mads_aden- Jayden, I'm fine. You're fine, it's fine because I won't let his words have an impact on me.

Jxm- He has anger issues. Beth and him were screaming at each other. Then, he muttered something, I couldn't hear it through his thick accent. I heard the front door shut. Steps approached the door to where I was supposed to be sleeping. I was awake, Beth knew it as well. She came in, laid down beside me and, said nothing. There was nothing to say. She stayed with me for a while. I eventually heard her soft slow breaths, I knew that she was asleep. I pulled a sheet over her and waited for him to come back.

Mads_aden- What time did this happen???

Mads_aden- and you have anger issues too Jayden.

Jxm- 1-3 kind of. William came back around 4. And no I do not.

Mads_aden- Anyways, you said you waited for him?

Jxm- Yes?

Mads_aden- Jayden what did you do!?!?!?!!!

Jxm- Why do you always assume I have done something?
