Officially not officialI just left Korra after dropping Jayden off and he keeps blowing up my phone.
I do not just play games, I win them. And today I'm at 2 and he's at 1.
I took in everything people keep telling me.
Yes, I'll admit that the feelings are there. What I do not agree with is jumping into something so quickly. I can see Diamond's point about friends. There were two reasons Jay and I didn't work out back then.
One... We were too young.
Two... Friends. Friends was a safe zone for me. I didn't want to get into something that would make me lose one of my best friends.
I was scared of feeling. I was scared of love. I couldn't move on because I would compare every man I saw to Jayden. No one was going to be him other than him.
I am not afraid anymore.
Nothing from my past can hold me back from what I care about in my present.
When I get home it's nearly half-past six, I march up the stairs and dive into my bed.
"Madison get off of me!"
I JUST WANT TO SLEEP!
"How did you get in Rave!" I turn on my bedside lamp.
"You must have forgotten that I was coming at six and you should know by now that I have my ways."
I let it slip my mind. I promised Rave that I was going to do stretches with her. While watching the sunrise.
"So where did you go?" She asks me.
I am too tired to come up with an excuse. "I went to go get Jayden and drop him off at Korra, his car broke down." I yawn.
"What time did you get up?" She presses.
"Three! I drove for over an hour, then Jayden drove us to Korra and I came back home."
Rave smirks, "You let him drive your car?"
I never let anyone get a foot near my driver's door, let alone touch my steering wheel.
"I wasn't going to, but then James yelled at us to get off his property so I gave him my keys."
Raven's mouth drops "Did you just say, James?"
"Yeah, Jayden currently lives with him, James has the cutest baby girl I have ever seen. He named her after Jayden and I." I tell her.
"So is she Mayden or Jadison?"
"Jadison." I yawn.
"Is Jadison going to happen?" She asks referring to Jay and me.
"uhh, right now its a no. I want to get to know him as an adult then how I know him as a child before I make any choices."
Oh, That felt bad. I cannot believe I just said that to her.
"Well, I understand. Maddie, you seem really tired... Want to reschedule?"
"Yea I'm free Thursday?" I am never this tired.
She lightly nudges me, "it's a date, I'll see myself out."
"Bye Rave," I say quietly pulling my blanket over my head.
"Later Maddie."
...
I got up half an hour ago. it is currently 5:45 in the afternoon. Emma just happened to cancel our session today. I hate it when people do that. Although it puts an extra $50 bucks in my pocket because she didn't cancel 48 hours in advance.
