What?Jayden's POV
"What deal? How could you make a deal about me without me being present."
Much much Earlier
Beth and I were having an us day. Where we relax and enjoy ourselves. It was also my cheat day so, we brought on the carbs.
We ordered delivery from Made in New York. It's been my favourite pizza place since I moved out here. Their Spicy pepperoni pizza was to die for.
The doorbell rang about half an hour after I placed my order. I grabbed two plates then walked towards the door. Beth handed me 30 dollars and I gave her the plates, when I passed her.
I opened my door and there was no pizza man, but there was a man. He stood about an inch taller than me. He had curly black hair with some greys and striking blue eyes. Who was this guy?
Before I could say a word, Beth's reaction confused me, more.
"Oh my gosh!" She screamed and ran passed me to embrace this... this...old man?
Shortly after I saw the pizza guy walking down the hall. Beth took the money out of my hands with a smug, "Thank you." And shoved the pizza in my hands.
This mystery guy and my mum were talking really fast asking each other questions, acting as if I wasn't there.
He had his hands on her waist for a long time. I wasn't going to stand for it.
"Okay no!" I said stepping between them. "Who are you? Get your filthy hands off of my mother!"
"Ow ow owwww!" Beth yanked on my ear dragging me back into our apartment.
"Sit." She ordered.
I sat on the couch. She turned towards the door and told the man to come in.
He stood off to the side. And Beth caught my attention again. "Apologize to him now."
I was getting annoyed. "Can he not be here when we talk."
"Jayden William Morgan do not test me. Have you not figured out who that man is?" She pointed at him.
"What are you talking about am I supposed to know him? Have I met him before?" I said sarcastically.
"Yes, you have met him."
"Jayden William Morgan." I heard a deep English voice erupt into the room.
I glared at him, "You have no right to call me by my middle name!"
"Even when I'm the one who named you?" He said.
My mouth locked up. Did I hear him right?
I got up and walked towards him, "Who are you?"
"Who do you think I am?" He smirked.
He.
Smirked.
Blue eyes.
Curly black hair.
Chiselled jaw.
Tall.
Broad stance.
No.
Impossible. I took a good look at him. He looked like me.
Anger rose from me. "What are you doing here?" No, I turned to Beth. "Tell me what he's doing here!"
Beth stood her ground, "Jayden apologize to your father."
