Surprise prt. 3

Jayden's POV

My school permitted me to leave. I was ahead in all my classes. My teachers always ask me why I haven't been bumped up a grade or three. I ignore their questions.

I decided to graduate when Madison graduates.

...

We were about done packing the car. It was around 10 in the evening. James whined that his mom took all his money so he couldn't buy pizza. New York did have some of the best pizza I have ever had. So to help him out I gave him a twenty. Then I sent fifty Canadian to his bank account. If he had my back. I had his.

We said our goodbyes to Beth and now we're set for a nine-hour car ride.

Being a 6'2 almost 6'3 male in a car for a long time was horrible. I thank Kaitlyn for having an eight-seater car. James sat upfront. He was 6'1 and he was perfectly fine. My legs were killing me.

So when we stopped for gas around the fourth hour, I pulled up the back seats and folded the middle row. It was like having a footstool. It was great.

...

"Jayden wake up and give me your passport we are almost at the border!"

"James you know I am a light sleeping, why are you YELLING!" I matched his loud tone.

"I am yelling because I finally got pizza and it was a free pass to yell."

"I don't care about you sitting on your fat arse yelling or eating pizza. My passport is in your backpack which is right in front of you, wake me up when we reach the hotel."

I needed all the rest I could get.

Several hours later.

"Jayden wake up!" James yelled right beside my ear.

I shoved him. And got out of the car.

"What are we doing at your house?" I asked.

"Mom answer him."

I turn to Kaitlyn.

"Well Jayden your mother is very bad at figuring out dates, so your reservation is for tomorrow morning not today." She said.

"Jayden, why don't you just stay here?" James asked me.

"It is cheaper to stay in a hotel and pay for shorter distance travelling to Mads place. You live in downtown Toronto. It is expensive to uber places from here. Plus I already paid for the hotel."

No one said another word. I had big plans for today. It was Friday this had to be done today, I can't wait for it till Monday.

I called my hotel to see what happened to my room. They said it was ready and they were waiting for my arrival. What was going on?

I walked into the kitchen and asked Kaitlyn what was going on. Beth wanted her to watch me for one day. I can honestly take care of myself.

So after a lot of convincing Kaityln dropped me off at the hotel.

I checked in, got my key card and headed up to my room. It was nearly noon. I had three hours to make everything perfect. I ordered room service. It was awful. How is it possible you can make potato skins literally taste like the skin of a potato.

I was wasting time. I had to get going, I spent more time looking at the food than eating it. I an hour. I ordered my uber. It came relatively quickly. I had my knapsack filled with everything I needed. When I made it to my destination, I ran out to the sidewalk and got out my chalk.
