VERY IMPORTANT A/N AT THE END OF THE CHAPTER!
No way!
I honestly think I should start sleeping with earplugs in.
I'm being woken up too much.
I pick up my dang phone, "hello." I croak.
"Okay before you yell at me I apologize for waking you."
"Jayden you have three seconds to tell what you want before I hang up."
"I need a ride my car stopped working yesterday and the mechanic won't have it done." He says.
"Uber?" Like c'mon man.
"My Uber and Lyft account won't work and don't say a taxi because they keep getting lost."
"It's 3 AM!" I scream.
"Please, I have my first surgery today. I'll pay for you! I just need a ride." He begs.
"Fine send me the address, I'll be there in however long it takes."
I brush my teeth and hop in my car. I am still in my robe and PJs. I cannot be bothered.
I input the address and I gape at the travel time. 1 hour and 10 minutes. No way! I call Jayden and he doesn't pick up. Oh, you have got to be kidding me.
Ugh, I start driving. There are barely cars on the road. I get away with speeding a bit. I am getting confused.
I live in the suburbs. I drove past the suburbs, past the city and end up on some dirt road in what feels like the middle of no freaking where.
Soon enough I make it to my destination I guess. I have never seen a house this big. This close up before. I call Jayden once again and he still won't answer.
I walk up to the house and ring the bell.
"OH MY GOSH, IT IS FOUR IN THE MORNING WHO THE HELL IS OUTSIDE!"
I hear being yelled. There's screaming, there's crying. I think I'm in the wrong place.
A man opened the door. He has long blonde hair and is very tall.
"Who the hell are you and why are you here!" He yells in my face.
I don't take rude people lightly... "Sir do you think I want to be here! I am here because AN IDIOT NAMED JAYDEN MORGAN can't settle his priorities!" I shout back.
This man is taken back at my outburst.
He turns on the outside lights and takes a good look at me. Although I can still hear crying.
Now that there's fully light I can actually see this man's face.
"Aden..." he whispers.
There's a scar that runs from his collarbone to jaw.
"No way! James!" I repeatedly poke him to see if I'm dreaming or not.
He grabs my hand, "I swear you live in Caledon or something. What are you doing out here?"
"Ask Jayden," I grumble.
He gestures for me to come inside and I'm in awe of the paintings filling this place.
Right beside the staircase is a blown-up version of the picture he drew of us at the park. It almost brought tears to my eyes.
James puts his finger to his lips and tells me to follow him.
We make it to a fairly large room. The lights were very dim. Jayden is sitting on a stool loudly playing guitar.
We walk further into the room and I have probably just put my eyes on the most adorable child I have ever seen. She's so little. She has a head of blonde hair and grey eyes, I don't think they've adjusted to their set colour yet.
