Surprised prt.2

"Get up already!" I dragged James out of bed.

"Can you shut up. What time is it anyway?"

That woke him up. James flipped me on to the guest bed out of anger.

"Why would you wake me up at five in the morning Jayden?"

"Because I have too meet the representatives in two and a half hours. And you have a bet to take care of."

I understood why he was angry. I kept him up late rehearsing what to say to Beth and now I was waking him up early.

"Get out. I'll be in the living room in about 45 minutes." He said.

I walked out and put my uniform on. It was so uncomfortable. Wearing a sweater vest and slacks aren't what I want to wear for six hours of the day. I had to look professional.

When James and I entered the living room. It was a disaster site. Our mothers were sprawled out asleep, they were probably drinking as well.

We both started laughing. Then pillows were being chucked at us.

Which made us laugh more.

"Shut up we are trying to sleep," Kaitlyn grumbled.

"No way you both need to get up. Beth, I know you aren't hungover getup."

My mum has a high alcohol tolerance. I knew she was fine.

"Okay fine, you got me. Go get my tea and I'll make breakfast. Kaity get off ur arse and get up."

James' mother whipped her black hair back and went back to sleep. We decided to leave her. This was all part of the plan.

After Beth brushes her teeth, I gave her the tea and she began making breakfast.

"Do you want a hand Elizabeth?" James asked her.

"Darling it's alright you just sit."

"I insist." He said taking over half the kitchen.

"Way to make me look bad James." I scoffed. I never help Beth make breakfast.

He smiled, "I'm sorry you cannot be in a kitchen without spending an hour making sure everything is measured properly. It's called eyeball things."

Beth laughed at James' insults.

I scowled, this wasn't part of the plan but it was brilliant.

They made eggs, bacon, sausage, and pan-seared toast. It was amazing.

I left briefly to put my MacBook in my bag. It was time for James to pull this off.

James' POV

I can't believe I am doing this. It wasn't fair, I've known Aden longer yet, she has a better relationship with Jayden. I liked her first, I told Jayden and yet he disregarded me altogether.

All three of us can never hangout anymore because I am the ultimate third wheel. It's clear to see Aden's affection towards him. It makes my blood boil. I knew I had no chance. I had to back out.

Jayden gets what Jayden wants. So when he left the kitchen, I knew I had to act fast.

"Elizabeth where did Jayden want to go?"

She was fighting with herself to tell me the truth. So I asked another question.

"He wants to go see Madison doesn't he?"
