"Fuck, that hurt," someone groaned. You carefully peeked through the hole between the two 'cells' and watched as the door locked. A slice of cake was pushed through a slot in your door and you pushed it back. Whomever kidnapped you hadn't counted on you having granola bars and nuts in your pockets.

"You okay in there?" You asked, trying to catch a glimpse of the teen in the next room. You'd already figured out what happened to you, but three days seemed like way too long for the body you were in.

"Yeah, just," the boy wheezed and sat up. When you saw his face you almost gasped.

"Dean?!" He turned his face to yours and you watched as his brain started whirring. He was getting to a verdict when the heavy footsteps came back. Both of you went silent and for s second you wondered if it was coming for you, but if passed your cell and slipped a piece of cake under Dean's door.

"(Y/N), what's going on here?" He asked, walking over to the hole in the walls.

"I don't know. Now I figure it's dangerous, but I got that already."

"Why now?"

"You're here, idiot. If it kidnapped you then how nice can it be?" You asked, riling your eyes.

"Why do you still look the same?" Dean questioned, looking around the room. He rattled the the door handle and tried his phone. Lastly he looked at the window, as if trying to determine how much force it would take to break it.

"Look at yourself, genius," you commented, pulling a compact from your pocket. He looked at himself in the mirror and then took it from you, cracking it into two pieces. He shattered the mirror and picked one of the larger pieces.

"What the hell do you think you're doing, Dean?" He threw you a smirk and stood on top of the mattress in the corner. You realized what he was going to do.

"Dean, you can't just leave me here! You barely made it back last time!" You exclaimed. He stopped sawing at the bars and walked over to the hole between your 'cells'.

"(Y/N), I promise I'll make it back and I promise I'll save you." You looked at him, real hard this time, and saw so much fire and sadness behind his eyes that you had to try to believe in him. You stared at him for another second before turning away from Dean.

Dean's PoV

I had to save her. I nearly let her die last time, this time I had to save her. It took forever, but I finally made it to Sam, who had no words for what happened, but listened to what I had to say and then agreed.

"We have to go back to save, (Y/N). We had a hunt when we were kids and I almost couldn't save her."

"This isn't one of those unfinished business things, is it?"

"No I gotta save her this time. It's important."

"Whatever you say, Dean. You're the older one... well not right now."

"How long have you been waiting to make that one?"

Normal PoV

He was coming and you could smell the cake. You avoided looking at the blue icing, trying not to think about the week and a half you spent with Dean in high school.

"(Y/N), you will be showing our newest student around. This is Dean West." You waved to the boy. He was cute, you had to admit it. You'd worked your way through almost every boy in the school. This, Dean, could prove as a challenge. He didn't seem very interested during the classes, you had no idea who he thought he was either because he was at a prep school and refused to take off his hideous flannel. You weren't apposed to the actual material or the look, just the stench of it.

"Mr. West, you need to take that off. We have a dress code." He looked down at what he was wearing and took off the flannel. He looked like everyone else that way.

"Hey, (Y/N), right?" You turned around to look at Dean. You managed to go the entire day without him saying a word to you.

"Yeah?"

"You seem like a rebel. What're you doing at a prep school like that?"

"Oh..." You didn't want to explain your situation to Dean.

"Lemme guess. Parents went AWAL and you grew up all around, foster homes and adoption homes. Just waiting to escape when you're eighteen?" You eyed him cautiously.

"Why do you know that?" It worried you because of the amount of kids with the same story that had gone missing.

"Because of all the people going missing. All of them think their parents came back to get them. They all ran off with it."

"It?"

"The thing. The monster that is taking them and killing them. We need to find it and we need your help."

"We?"

"My dad. He hunts monsters. My brother and I help out where we can. We know you're the next target because it's making its way down a list. Which ones of you were admitted into the foster homes most recently. You moved here a few months ago, that's the fourth newest." You stared at him for a second and then nodded.

"I'll do it. I just have to call Eddie." You called your foster dad, saying you were staying over a friend's house. He didn't care. All he wanted was money to spent on his vintage comic books. That's all you were for. You and the three other kids he cared for.

Someone unlocked the door and you shuffled to the back of the cell, trying to get as far away from the door as you could, but when it opened a tall, muscular body filled the door frame.

"(Y/N), it's Sam. We gotta g-" Dean's yell interrupted the sentence and Sam went running back up. You followed, awkward and clumsy in your half developed teenage body. When you got to the top of the stairs you saw Dean pinned against the wall by the lady. She explained she was Gretel and the guy was her Hansel. How adults could go missing, but children could not. As she went on you saw Sam's finger pull a trigger and something on Hansel's chest burst. Dean was encased in the light, but when it was gone it wasn't Dean anymore. Well it was, but he was older. You looked back at yourself. Still an awkward bag of hormones. There was a lot of fighting, which you were not involved in because every time you even stepped out of the basement door, Dean shouted at you to stay back. They finally trapped Gretel in her fire and both boys turned back to you. You had to look straight up to see them.

"Alright, we need to find a way to make this go away," Dean said. You shook your head, trying to ignore the sound of flesh sizzling.

"I want to stay like this and do it over. Me as a teen. I want to go to college and do something with my life." Both boys looked at you a second and then nodded.

"Anywhere you want us to drop you off?"

"Any chance you're heading towards Wisconsin?"

"Could use a nicer route back to Kansas," Dean shrugged.

"Where you gonna go from there, (Y/N)?"

"Back to Eddie. He and I still had been in touch for a little while. I'll go there and explain that I'm... my kid... I guess. Change my name start over." The two tall men walked towards a black car and you rolled your eyes.

"You need a new car."

"Never."
