Taylor is just an excited bundle of joy this evening. She's so so proud of folklore, and hearing it be named album of the year by her peers is just an insurmountable feeling. She'd been unable to stop the smile on her face and couldn't stop hugging both Jack and Aaron all night. Now, she's parted ways with the group and is heading home to Joe, and her cats of course. She can't wait to celebrate with him. It still feels surreal to her that he'd also had a hand in this album, that what they'd sat down at that piano and created had, ultimately, led to this moment. She can't stop bouncing her leg in the back of the car and when it pulls into her garage she practically races up the stairs, flinging the door open.

Joe is standing right there, clearly waiting for her and she launches herself into his arms, wrapping her arms around his neck. She feels his arms hold her tightly

"You did it!" He murmurs, swaying her gently. Her grin just gets wider now that she's home with him.

"I couldn't have done it without you! You helped with literally everything, setting everything up, keeping cats under control plus literally composing and writing two songs for folklore?! It was such an amazing experience!" She pulls back for a moment, bringing her lips to his before grinning at him again. His smile is just as wide as hers,

"I loved partaking in it! And tonight was incredible! Your performance went flawlessly, and I watched your speech." He gives her a sly grin and she playfully rolls her eyes.

"Yes, yes, I know. I said your name" They both giggle, still wrapped up in each others arms.

"Well this all calls for celebration, but how tired are you?" He asks her,

"Not too bad, but I will be soon! Let me just get changed really quickly." Joe smiles and nods, pressing a kiss to her forehead

"No worries, I'll be down her when you're ready." Taylor presses one last kiss to his lips before running upstairs and peeling off her dress, she'd felt like a fairy all night but was now also relieved to exchange the dress for some comfy pyjamas. After quickly washing her face and getting cozy, she grabs her phone before heading downstairs and plonking herself on the couch. She hears Joe call out from the kitchen,

"I'll just be a minute!" She smiles before opening up Twitter and seeing what her fans are saying. There's an entourage of excitement and congratulations coming from all angles and Taylor feels herself smiling at everything they're saying. But unfortunately, something stops her in her tracks. She notices a lot of them had posted about a tear in her dress, something she hadn't noticed before. She hadn't expected this feeling tonight, she didn't even think her happiness would allow her to be affected by something like this, but here they are. She drops her phone, needing to go see the rip for herself to determine the truth of the picture and she runs back upstairs. She picks up her dress off the chair and her face falls. Taylor can feel her excitement fade as she realises she'd actually managed to rip it. Her mind is swirling with her eating disorder and she's trying so hard to fight back that she didn't even hear Joe enter the room until he spoke.

"Hey, what's wrong?" He asks softly, moving closer towards Taylor. She bites her bottom lip,

"I ripped my dress." She says sadly, trying not to let those dark thoughts consume her. She'd come so far with this but occasionally she'd have moments like this where she knew how easy it would be for her to relapse.

"It's a really sheer fabric, it looks so easy to tear love." Taylor tries to focus on Joe's words, knowing full well that he's right. But still, the little voice in the back of her head attempts to prevail.

"I've worn sheer things before, they've never ripped." She still hasn't looked up at him, she doesn't want to just yet, she's too focused on the tear in her dress. She'd seen the photos, she knows no one meant any harm when they pointed it out, they just thought it was funny. But all Taylor could focus on was it looked like her body didn't fit properly into the dress, therefore tearing it.

"Well to be fair, you did a lot of aggressive hugging tonight, I saw you." She feels his hand rub her shoulder and she knows he's trying to make light of this, to divert her attention to laughing, rather than give any credibility to what her mind is trying to tell her right now. She simply sighs, before finally looking up at him and gives him a faltered smile.

"I know." She whispers, biting her lip again. Joe gently takes the dress from her hands, placing it down before wrapping his arms around her. Taylor just buries her face into his chest, knowing she needs to stop her mind.

"Come on three-time-album-of-the-year-winner, let's go watch some TV before we go to bed." Taylor feels a faint smile flicker on her face, she holds onto Joe, just needing a moment of silence wrapped up in his arms to conquer these intruding thoughts. He stands there, giving her the time she needs. She's so eternally grateful for him. Over the years, he's been there for her every single time she's needed him, no matter what she'd needed. The same way she'll always be there for him. After a few minutes, Taylor leans back and presses a kiss to his cheek before grabbing his hand. Joe smiles, squeezing her hand gently as they walk back downstairs. They get comfortable on the couch, Joe's arms wrapped around Taylor, her head resting on his chest.

"I love you Taylor." He murmurs, pressing a kiss to the top of her head.

"I love you too." She whispers, snuggling into him as he runs his fingers gently through her hair.

"I'm so proud of you love, for everything" She knows, in the way he says it, that he's not just talking about the Grammy she'd won tonight, but also the mental battle she'd quickly overcome. It's taken years to get to where she is now, and there are still some setbacks, but even Taylor can see how far she's come. She grabs his hand, gently kissing his knuckles.

"Thank you, I'm proud of you too. And seriously, thank you for writing with me. I'll never shut up about that."

"Of course, I loved doing that with you. Believe me, I'll never shut up about it either, plus, it's been fun to hold that one over Patrick's head and my friends can't quite believe it either." Taylor giggles at his words. They both know they shocked the whole world, including their friends when they revealed that Joe had written songs with her. It'd been quite funny to the two of them. Taylor had been incredibly touched when he'd revealed that he'd never felt comfortable admitting to anyone else that he enjoyed playing piano, or that he sometimes could write poetry, or in this case songs. She hadn't quite realised up until then that it was something he'd only let her see. That was something else really special about their relationship, the both of them had felt like they had to hide certain things from everyone, whether they were good or bad things, but neither of them hid things from each other. They didn't feel the need to. Taylor knew Joe was someone she could trust pretty early on in their relationship, even when they were just friends. She hadn't known how deeply she could trust him until a bit further in but he's never proved her wrong. And she's comfortable knowing that despite what could ever happen, she'd always be able to trust in the fact that he'd never throw her under the bus. The world would never know what she'd told him, in the same way she'd never reveal anything about him. They're so in love, anyone could see that, but only they know how deeply that love runs.
