I Love You-I'm So Sorry I Didn't Mean T-

Another sentence starter! Sorry it's kinda short...but fluffy!

"I love you- I'm so sorry I didn't mean t-" Joe cuts her off with a kiss. Taylor's mind is reeling, she can't believe she said that. She definitely hadn't intended to. They'd been so angry with each other tonight and she definitely hadn't expected to tell him she loved him. Joe pulled back from the kiss and cupped her face with his hands. Taylor can't stop the tears slipping down her cheeks as she lowers her gaze, unable to look at him. She knows this changes everything. 

"I love you too." Taylor's breath hitches and she looks up in shock. He loves her too? How could someone love her? Joe's thumb wipes her cheek

"You love me?" She asks through her tears and Joe nods, offering her a gentle smile. Taylor wraps her arms around his neck and buries her face in his chest, holding him tight. She feels him put his arms around her body, holding on just as tight. Taylor's head is still spinning, he loves her. She didn't think she was capable of loving, let alone being loved ever again. Taylor keeps holding onto him, fearing that he'll disappear or turn around and tell her he was kidding. But he doesn't. He just continues to hold her. 

After some time has passed, Taylor has no idea how much, she pulls back and looks into his eyes. Her tears have stopped but her cheeks are still wet. Joe's hands rest on her hips as he waits for her to make the next move.

"I'm sorry." She says softly, biting her lip.

"What on earth are you apologising for?" He asks calmly, reaching up and tucking strands of her hair behind her ear.

"For getting angry, telling you I love you and then crying. I'm a mess." She sighs

"Okay, first of all, don't ever apologise for telling me you love me. It's the best thing I could ever hear because I love you too. Secondly, you're in no way a mess. You're allowed to have feelings and moods. I'm glad you let me see you cry and stuff, it makes me feel like you trust me. So anyway, you have no reason to apologise to me tonight love." Taylor rests her head against Joe's chest, winding her arms around his body and letting a small sigh escape her lips. Her eyes flutter shut for a moment, trying to take in the events from this evening. Her and Joe had been fighting over her not telling him stuff and then all of a sudden she'd told him she loved him, and he'd said it back. She feels a small smile form on her lips and a weight lift of her shoulders. She'd finally admitted how she felt, she doesn't have to hide it anymore. He loves her. Taylor lifts her head off his chest and smiles at him, her returns her smile and she leans in, kissing him gently. When the two of them pull back again, they both have smiles on their faces. Now that she's come to terms with it, Taylor is so happy she told him. 

"I love you Taylor." Joe tells her, love and happiness shining in his ocean blue eyes.

"I love you too." She says softly, trying to convey all her love through her own eyes. Joe pulls her fiercely against his chest again, hugging her tight and Taylor wraps her arms around him. They both just hold each other. The confessions of love for the first time has clearly touched them both. Taylor feels her heart warm knowing that it means just as much to him as it does to her. In this moment, it is confirmed for her. He is the one she is meant to be with for the rest of her life.
