Taylor had basically spent the entire day holding her breath, her freedom is so close. She'd barely been able to sit still for five seconds so she's been busying herself with random tasks around the house. A million different thoughts were running through her mind. She'd been waiting for this moment since she'd made the decision to walk away from BMR, and even more so since her music had been sold. All she'd wanted for the past few years was to own her work, own everything she'd poured her heart and soul into, all her time and energy. But they'd said no. Now, she was gaining a piece of freedom. The ability to re-record her albums 1-5. Taylor knows Joe has just been letting her do her thing, occasionally stopping her to give her a quick kiss or a hug. She knows he's waiting for her to calm down enough to be able to sit on the couch with him and she will, just after she finishes scrubbing the kitchen from top to bottom.

After a few hours of deep cleaning the kitchen, Joe walks in tentatively while she's wiping down some of the lower cupboards.

"Love? Do you think that maybe it's time to take a break and eat some food?" She looks up at him from the floor and smiles,

"Yeah maybe...but I'm not sure we can really cook anything at the moment." Taylor watches Joe's eyes scan the kitchen, she knows everything looks like a mess but that's because she hasn't put anything back yet. When Joe's eyes find hers again he just shakes his head and grins,

"So you were serious about cleaning the whole kitchen then?" He holds his hand out for Taylor, which she takes, allowing him to hoist her up. Joe's arms find her waist, wrapping them around her.

"Well I guess we're just going to have to make do." Joe kisses her forehead and Taylor's eyes flutter closed for a minute, feeling a sense of peace wash over her body while being in his arms. He lets go of her and opens the fridge, pulling things out of it.

"Go sit on the couch, I've got this." Taylor smiles gratefully, walking up to him a placing a kiss soon his cheek.

"Thank you." She says softly and Joe smiles at her, pecking her lips before shooing her out of the kitchen.

Sitting on the lounge, Taylor stares at the clock on the wall. 3pm. Only 9 hours to go. Her nervous energy returns and she finds herself fiddling with her fingers and bouncing her leg. After about ten minutes, Joe appears holding two plates with sandwiches. Taylor smiles as he hands her her plate. The two of them sit in silence, eating their food. She hadn't realised how hungry she was until she started eating.

Once they were finished, they placed their plates on the table in front of them and Joe began talking.

"So I was thinking once you decide to be done with cleaning we could play games until midnight?" Taylor furrows her brow

"Why midnight?" She questions and Joe shrugs,

"I figured you'd be staying up, but if not we can definitely sleep and wake up in the morning and celebrate!" Joe's words practically melt Taylor's heart,

"No I am staying up but you don't have to, honestly if you need to sleep then-" Joe cuts her off and grabs her hand,

"Babe I'm with you, I want to celebrate this too. I want to celebrate with you because seeing you get exactly what is rightfully yours is so special to me. So don't you worry, I'll be staying up with you tonight to ring in your freedom." Taylor finds herself smiling, happy tears filling her eyes. She throws her arms around his neck, moving to sit in his lap. His arms wrap around her, holding her close.

"I love you." She murmurs and she feels his arms tighten around her.

"I love you too." There's a silence for a few moments before Joe speaks again,
