An hour and a bit later, after a short and quiet ride on the Quinjet, Nat and I arrived in Vienna at the United Nations.

The room was filled with important looking people in suits. I tried my hardest to not feel out of place especially considering I was a princess and had, to an extent, done things like this before.

The room was huge, with a podium on a stage that was surrounded by desks ready to seat the world leaders scattered throughout the room. There was a large window behind the stage that overlooked the herd of reporters waiting to hear the aftermath of the gathering.

A woman with a clipboard then nervously made her way towards Nat and I. "Excuse me, Miss Romanoff and Lady Theia? These just need your signature." She stated handing Nat a pen.

Nat signed the empty boxes before the woman held the pen out to me. "Um, I'm not actually signing until this is over." I confirmed with an anxious smile.

"Of course. Thank you, Miss Romanoff." She replied with a simple smile before walking away to bother someone else.

"Taking your time, huh?" Nat asked me as we strolled through the room.

"I'm going to try my best to alter some of the amendments." I admitted, seeing a wider smirk spread across her face. "Hey! I have to try, alright! What if I want to stop? Am I carted off to Asgard with no warning? Absolutely not." I tried to convince her despite her judging chuckles.

"I wish you the best of luck there but our presence here is mainly to stop them hating us. So, I don't think aggravating them is the best way to go about that." She informed me, which was technically new information, but I should have figured it out myself.

"I won't aggravate them." I tried to convince her.

"Please, you and your brother are not the best at verbal convincing, but if it's a sword fight I would 100% root for you." She laughed at the frown on my face.

"Excuse me, I am very charming." I insisted, only making her laugh more.

"Did Steve tell you that?" She replied, raising her eyebrows knowingly.

Before I could reply with some excuse of how I was an expert negotiator but a handsome dark-skinned man spoke from behind us causing our heads to spin round in attention.

"I suppose neither of us is used to the spotlight, unless it is a phoney representation of a princess." The man spoke as he approached us.

I didn't know who this man was, but I assumed he was important otherwise he wouldn't be here.

"Oh, well, it's not always so flattering." Nat replied for the both of us with a smile. She was definitely trying hard to leave a good impression on everyone. Maybe I needed to do better.

"You seem to be doing all right so far. Considering your last trip to Capitol Hill... I wouldn't think you'd be particularly comfortable in this company." The man explained with a similar smirk that Nat often showed. It was like he knew all her secrets and I had the impression he probably did.

"Well, I'm not." Nat replied which I don't think was a lie even if she wasn't showing it.

"And that alone makes me glad you are here, Miss Romanoff. And Princess, I welcome you to your first encounter at the UN. Prince T'Challa, of Wakanda." He introduced himself. I had a feeling he knew everything about me too, which was slightly unnerving.

"Wakanda? Where have I heard that before-" I started but received a hidden nudge from Nat suggesting that I don't press the topic. Of course, I knew people from his country were involved in the incidents in Lagos but I was actually referring to the talk of Vibranium last year and how the strongest metal on Earth had originated from there.
