A few days had passed, but Nanala really hadn't gotten better, much to the boys' dismay. She assured them she was just sick and would be better soon, but they were starting to realize that wasn't true. When they got back to Hogwarts, James, Sirius, and Remus began to keep a closer eye on Nanala. She had to try and sneak off to see Madam Pomfrey without them, but with their watchful eye, she wouldn't be able to sneak off unless they're asleep. She couldn't even go during quidditch, since James was the quidditch captain and she had to go to each Gryffindor game to cheer him on.

"Do you want to tell me what's actually wrong with you?" Remus asked, as he sat down next to the girl.

Sirius and James were at quidditch practice, and Remus and Nanala were studying. Peter was sleeping, which wasn't something new since they came back from holiday break. Nanala sighed and turned to Remus with a frown on her face.

"You have to promise me you won't tell anyone what I'm about to tell you," She said, causing Remus to nod.

"You know I won't. You're my best friend, and all of your secrets are safe with me," He replied, and the girl smiled warily.

"Remus," She began, his eyes eyes filling with worry when he realized she said his real name,"I'm pregnant. I'm going to be a mum," She murmured, making Remus's eyes widen.

"Are you serious?" He asked, narrowing his eyes when the girl smirked,"Not the time," He scolded,"Does anyone else know?"

"Molly Weasley did the test, that's it. You're the only other person to know," She replied, making him nod.

"Do you plan on telling James?" He asked, and she bit her lip.

"I don't know, I mean, this entire relationship was supposed to get him with Lily. This," She pointed to her still flat belly,"wasn't supposed to be in the equation," She said, causing him to sigh.

"I know, but this would be good for both of you, Nanala. I know James would be happy to have a baby with you. You might not see it, but James is smitten over you. This relationship might've been fake at first, but it's real now. His feelings for you are real, and this baby will just make him love you more," Remus stated, and Nanala smiled.

"I have to tell Madam Pomfrey today, so I need you to distract them for a bit so I can go see her," Nanala commented, causing the boy to nod.

"I'll distract them during dinner. You can tell James tonight, if you feel up to it," He replied, and the girl sighed.

"I'll try, but if he hates me for this, I'm going to hex you," She answered, causing Remus to chuckle.

"I can promise you Nanala, he will not hate you," Remus said, and Nanala smiled.

A few hours later, the group went to dinner. Nanala sat between James and Sirius, deciding to eat light, since everything seemed to make her sick. Remus passed her some fruit, giving her a look to tell her fruit was better than anything else. With a discreet nod, Nanala began to eat the fruit. She really liked the strawberry and cantaloupe the most, though the oranges weren't too bad.

"When did you become a health nut?" Sirius asked, once he had noticed the girl was eating fruit.

"Oh, Madam Pomfrey told me I'd feel better if I ate more fruits," She answered, before quickly standing,"Matter of fact, I have to go see her to make sure I'm eating the right fruits. She told me certain ones, and I want to double check. I should be back by the time you get to the common room," She said, then abruptly turned and left the hall.

"She's acting weird," Sirius commented, and James shrugged.

"I don't know, she looks like she's feeling better. Maybe she really did talk to Madam Pomfrey," James replied, causing Remus to quickly nod.

"She did, this morning before you two woke up. I went with her, just to make sure nothing was wrong. Apparently she hasn't ate enough fruits and vegetables, but since she hates vegetables, Madam Pomfrey told her to eat more fruit," Remus lied, but luckily the boys believed him.

Nanala walked into Madam Pomfrey's office, and seen the mediwitch sitting at her desk. When Madam Pomfrey heard her, she looked up and gave the girl a smile.

"Madam Pomfrey, I found out I was pregnant over Christmas, and I knew you'd probably have to know, since I'd be coming to you for checkups later on," Nanala said, causing the mediwitch to nod.

"Yes," Madam Pomfrey replied,"let's go do a couple tests to make sure you're both healthy, then you can run along to whatever you were doing before," She added, and Nanala nodded.

Madam Pomfrey had the girl lay down, before she came over and began to do little tests and such on the girl. After about twenty minutes, Nanala was allowed to sit up and get ready to leave. Madam Pomfrey went to her office and grabbed a paper that said when her next check up would be, before Nanala was allowed to leave the room. Nanala then began her walk back to the common room, only to be stopped by her name being called. Turning around, she was surprised to see Dumbledore.

"I've heard about your predicament," He commented, and she nodded.

Nanala wasn't sure when Madam Pomfrey even had the time to tell Dumbledore, but she simply shrugged it off. Dumbledore would have to know eventually, even if Nanala didn't want anyone else knowing yet.

"Have you told Mr. Potter?" Dumbledore asked, causing Nanala to frown.

"No, but I was just on my way to tell him and Sirius. Remus knows," She said, making him sigh.

"Nanala Malfoy, I'm sorry, but you can't do that," He stated, causing her to frown.

"What? Why?" She asked, crossing her arms.

"There's a prophecy of destiny for James Potter and Lily Evans, and you've gotten in the way of destiny. I can't allow you to interfere with the future of the wizarding world anymore," He said, causing her eyebrows to furrow.

"What do you mean? What are you going to do?" She asked, her eyes looking around frantically for anyone to come save her.

"I'm sorry, Ms. Malfoy, I truly am, but this isn't your destiny, not between you and Mr. Potter. I'm doing what is best for the both of you," He commented, raising his wand.

"Please, don't hurt me or my baby," She pleaded, causing the old fool to laugh halfheartedly.

"I'm not going to hurt either of you, dear. I'm just helping everyone, and that includes you and your child. I will even send you with a few of your things," He replied, before he waved his wand.

She barely heard the words leave his mouth before her entire world went dark...
