Nanala's heart was practically beating out of her chest. Tony had informed her about what Peter told him, and she wasn't sure if she wanted to see the people or not. She didn't know if she wanted to come face to face with her past. She had just gotten over the fact that she had lost all of her friends from that time, but now there was a chance she'd be seeing them again.
"Are you sure you want to do this?" Tony asked,"We don't have to stop here, we can just keep driving." He said, but Nanala shook her head.
"No, I've got to do this," She replied,"Besides, Henry's been in the car for a while, and he'll want to get out soon. He'd also be very happy to see Aunt May." She added, and Tony simply nodded.
Tony drove them straight to Aunt May's first, and once they were sure Henry was going to be safe, they headed to the new place Peter had helped the boys find. With the amount of money James had, Peter was able to find them a big enough place for all of them to be comfortable, and the place was already furnished.
"Are you ready to go in?" Bucky asked, making the girl sigh.
"Not really, but I won't feel anymore ready later than I am now." She replied, and he nodded.
Bucky and Tony followed behind Nanala, as she knocked lightly on the front door. In a moment or two, Peter opened the front door in his Spider-Man suit. Nanala smirked to herself, trying to keep from laughing, before she gave him a simple wave.
"Come in." Peter murmured, as he stepped out of the way of the door.
Nanala entered first, followed by Bucky, then Tony. Once they were inside, Peter lead them to the living room where the boys were waiting. Nanala's breath hitched, as the guys gasped when they seen each other.
"Guys, I--" Nanala began, but she was quickly cut off.
"Nala!" They exclaimed, as they jumped up and ran over to her.
The three wrapped their arms around her, tears swelling in their eyes.
"We didn't think we'd ever see you again." Remus commented, and Nanala sighed shakily.
"I know, and I'm sorry," She replied,"but I guess you guys figured out all of my clues." She added, making the guys nod.
"Andy helped. You-Know-Who still came because of Dumbledore, but Andy saved us." Sirius said, and Nanala smiled.
"And Lily?" Nanala asked, but the boys shook their heads.
"Andy couldn't save her in time," James replied, before he bent down and grabbed the little boy from the ground,"this is mine and Lily's son, Harry. Andy managed to save him, but she swore he defeated You-Know-Who before she got to him." He commented, causing her to act surprised—though she knew that Harry would survive as a baby, since she remembered the books.
Her knowledge from the books was slowly draining, meaning the books were slowly disappearing, since Harry was no longer in the other world to make the story. Nanala was glad he was safe, but she wasn't sure how well the universe would react to that big of a change. She just hoped Doc Strange wouldn't have a fit over it.
"Oh, I guess I should introduce you guys to my fiancé," Nanala murmured,"guys, this is Bucky Barnes. Bucky, this is the Marauders; Remus Lupin, Sirius Black, and James Potter." She introduced them, and they awkwardly greeted each other.
"And best for last I see," Tony commented,"I'm Tony Stark, I help keep this girl in line—even when she uses her magic to make my inventions attack me at random times when I'm least expecting it." He said, causing the boys to laugh.
"I-if I remember correctly, you have a little boy, right?" Remus asked, and Nanala sighed.
"It's complicated, guys," She replied,"Henry doesn't know you guys much. He's heard stories, but he doesn't really know you guys. He knows you're his birth father, James, but Bucky's his dad and--" She rambled, but James cut her off.
"Nala," He began, causing her to go quiet,"I understand, believe me, I get it. You didn't know you'd see us again. Merlin, we didn't know we'd see you again. I just hope you would let us meet him." He said, causing her to sigh.
"I'll go get him." Tony commented, making everyone turn towards him.
"Tony--" Nanala began, but he cut her off.
"We didn't bring him, because we didn't know if it'd be safe. These guys don't seem like much of a threat," He said,"Besides, I bet you and Sargent Barnes most likely have a lot of questions for these guys before I come back with Henry." He added, and Nanala simply nodded with a sigh.
Nanala and Bucky sat down awkwardly on the couch in front of James, Remus, and Sirius. Harry looked over at them, and he slowly pulled himself up with his father's leg, before he walked over to the couple. His hands made contact with Bucky's knee to make sure he didn't fall, then he looked up at them.
"Hi." He said, and they smiled.
"Hello, Harry." Nanala replied, ruffling his hair.
"What's up, little man?" Bucky asked rhetorically, as he patted the little boy's back lightly.
Nanala and Bucky played with Harry and talked to him a bit, as James, Remus, and Sirius watched them. James felt his heart tug, as he kind of wished it was him that was in Bucky's place next to Nanala, but as soon as that thought came to his head it was gone. He refused to let anything like that mess with his life, especially after he, his son, and his friends had gotten a second chance. They had been given the chance to live thanks to Andromeda, and he wasn't going to mess that up by hurting someone who meant a lot to him. He was going to learn to be happy as long as she was happy...
