"We'll set you up with a room in the tower, that'll be big enough for you and for Henry," Tony said, and Nanala nodded.
"Do I have to live here, or can I stay in my flat?" Nanala asked, making Tony furrow his eyebrows.
"Why? Why wouldn't you want to live here?" He asked, causing her to bite her lip.
"Well, I have a flat mate, Danielle, and I think she'd feel left out if I just don't want that to happen. I mean, she was my first real friend here, she's been there since I was pregnant with Henry, and she was the first person I told about my real life and everything that happened to me," Nanala said, and Tony nodded.
"So, go talk to her, see what she thinks, and we'll see when you're moving in," Tony commented,"Also, before you say that you don't want to bring it up to her and upset her, know that I am sending her a letter in two days, if you haven't already talked to her," He added, causing Nanala to sigh and nod.
"I'll talk to her tomorrow, after I let all this sink in for me," She replied, and he agreed.
Tony ordered Italian for dinner, since everyone was still in the tower. Normally everyone would've left, but Nanala had been explaining quite a few spells and charms that she could do. Everyone seemed to appreciate the healing charms, since the team would eventually really need them.
"Hey Nanala," She heard, causing her to look up at the door and see Ms. Potts,"Could you email me a list of things you need for yours and Henry's room, as well as what you guys like to eat and drink?" She asked, and Nanala nodded.
"Of course, I'll send it to you as soon as I can tomorrow morning," Nanala replied, causing Ms. Potts to smile, before she turned and left the room.
"Ms. Potts is a very busy woman, so I hope you don't think she's being rude just leaving the room like that," Tony commented, and Nanala shook her head.
"I don't think she's being rude, I understand. I knew quite a few people like her in my life," Nanala answered, causing Tony to smile.
After eating dinner, Nanala decided it was time for her and Henry to go back to her flat. She needed to sleep on everything that happened, and she needed to talk to Danielle about her moving out. If Danielle was fine with it, Nanala was more than happy with leaving the flat to Danielle. She just didn't want to upset her best friend, even if it meant upsetting the team she was just starting on.
"So, how'd it go?" Danielle asked, almost as soon Nanala walked into the flat with Henry.
"It went well, if I do say so myself," Nanala replied,"Oh, I went off on Director Fury. I think I may have knocked his ego down a few pegs, once he realized I wasn't intimidated by his eyepatch or his angry glare," She added, and Danielle laughed.
"Girl, are you for real?!" Danielle exclaimed, causing Nanala to nod.
"Yep, I almost wondered if he used his angry eyes to cover up the fact that I was going to make him cry," Nanala answered, making Danielle laugh again and nod in agreement.
Nanala turned on the television and began to watch The Vampire Diaries, as she and Danielle continued to talk about their day. Obviously, Nanala didn't tell Danielle anything about what Tony wanted her to ask the girl. Nanala planned to talk to Danielle about the new living arrangements that were offered, but she wasn't going to tell her anything yet. She didn't know how the girl would handle it, and she didn't want to upset her friend when she wasn't exactly agreeing to it herself in her mind.
"I think I'm going to head to bed. I've had a pretty hectic day," Nanala said, and Danielle nodded.
"I can believe that. Go ahead and get some rest. You most likely have plenty to do tomorrow, too," Danielle replied, causing Nanala to sigh.
"You have no idea,"Nanala murmured, before she stood from the couch.
Henry had started falling asleep on the chair next to the couch, so Nanala knew she wasn't the only one who was getting tired. Nanala picked up her son and carried him into her room. She got him ready for a bath, and she washed him up quickly. Once he was washed up, she helped him into his Paw Patrol pajamas, then laid him down in his bed.
Once Henry was tucked into bed, Nanala went and took a shower herself. After she was showered and dressed in pajamas, Nanala quickly dried her hair and put it in a messy bun. Laying down in bed, Nanala pulled the covers over her body and sighed. Closing her eyes, she began to think about everything that happened throughout her day.
Nanala wasn't the happiest person when she realized that she had told the team everything, but then she also realized that maybe it was for the best. If they knew, that meant she could go out in the day more. She could finally do some of her magic without being recognized and misjudged by other people. If the Avengers knew who she was, and she was now a part of them, that meant they'd all accept her in some way.
She refused for the world to know the truth about her. If she was smart, she'd be able to cover everything up. As long as nobody knew, nobody would question to much about her. It seemed that maybe she'd be able to have a more normal life in this universe than in the other, but than again, it could be an even worse life now that she was a part of the Avengers. She didn't know how much she could possibly lose because of that team of superheroes...
