Nanala sat next to Steve on Rocket's ship. Rocket was a raccoon, but it seemed to be a thing for everyone to call him an animal that he wasn't. Anyhow, the team had gotten the location of where Thanos would be—or so they hoped. Nanala doubted anything good would come out of their trip, but she didn't want to ruin the hope everyone else seemed to have.

When they arrived on the planet, Nanala was a bit surprised to see all of the green life. The planet was nice, but she didn't care. She wanted Thanos to return everything he had taken away. She wanted him to suffer for what he had done to her and everyone else. Honestly, if she was strong enough, she'd use the killing curse on him immediately after he brought everyone back.

She stayed outside to survey the area, as the others went inside to confront Thanos. When Steve had come out and Nanala had seen the look on his face, she knew it was hopeless. She wasn't getting her son back. She wasn't getting Bucky back. She and Clint weren't getting Laura, Cooper, Lila, and Nathaniel back. They were officially gone, and there was no point of return to be seen.

"He destroyed the stones." Steve murmured, causing the girl's heart to shatter.

"Is he...?" She trailed off, and Steve shook his head.

"Thor killed him—cut his head off." Steve replied, causing Nanala to nod silently.

The team went back on the ship and went back to Earth. The moment they were on Earth, Nanala felt more sadness place itself on her heart. Sighing, the girl followed the team into the Avengers compound, before she went to her room.

It had been over two weeks since she had talked to Clint, but she knew she'd be able to find him. She had to go to him. If she didn't, she knew she'd not be able to handle life much longer.

"What are you doing?" Steve asked, when he seen she was packing.

"I-I'm leaving." She answered, making the man frown.

"Why? Where are you going?" He asked, causing her to sigh.

"I need to get away from all of this. If I stay, I don't know how long I'll be able to handle it. Besides, I know that he needs me." Nanala said, and the man nodded.

"Fine, just know that when you need us, we'll be here." Steve commented, causing the girl to simply nod.

Once the girl had a bag packed with her clothes and any other essential she may need, she quickly left her room. She didn't leave a note or anything telling anyone where she was going to be. After she was outside of the building, she apparated away. She couldn't apparate far, since she was exhausted and her magic wasn't very good, but she was still able to get far enough away where they wouldn't catch her early.

The girl had apparated to the Barton home, and she sighed in relief when she found a note written to her on the counter. The note was written in morse code, so she would have to translate it to know where he was. He had taught her morse code when she had visited the family one of the times she was still living in Wakanda.

Anyhow, once she figured out that he was in Mexico. She decided to get some sleep, hoping she'd be able to use her magic to make a port key to travel to Mexico, otherwise she'd have to get herself a plane ticket or train ticket. She liked trains a lot more than planes, since she had been on way more trains in her lifetime.

Sleeping in the Barton home made her feel uneasy. It was way too quiet and still for her. Luckily, she had a couple dream-less sleep potions in her room, so she was able to get some sleep without nightmares. She didn't have any sleeping droughts, so it took a while for her to fall asleep. It hurt to stay in the house without everyone else.

Every room held memories—memories that made tears fill her eyes. Sadly, the girl had ended up crying herself to sleep, since all she could think about was Henry, Bucky, Laura, Cooper, Lila, and Nathaniel. She had ended up sleeping with one of Henry's teddy bears in her bed. It made her feel a little less depressed, at least, enough to fall asleep.

The next morning, around eight, she woke up and got ready to travel. She had gotten enough rest to be able to do a bit more magic than she recently had been able to. She took a hot shower and tried to calm herself a bit. She then went to the kitchen and made coffee—a habit she had learned from Clint years ago.

After drinking coffee to get a little more energy, she quickly cleaned up any mess she left, before she went outside to create a port key. Once her port key was ready, she was able to travel straight to Mexico.

She knew it would take some time to find Clint, which she wasn't too excited about. She hated searching for things, so searching for someone that didn't want to be found was going to be very hard. She knew Clint was really going to be hiding from the world, so she had to try rather hard to find him.

Seeing all of the people that walked around the area, minding their own business and walking about, she couldn't help but wish that she could've done the same. She wished she could be as carefree as they seemed to be. Deciding to hide from everyone walking about, she pulled her cloak from her bag and put it around her. She placed the hood up, before she began to walk around in search of Clint. She didn't want him to be spooked by someone telling him that she was tracking him, so she had to lay low. He knew she was going to find him, it was just going to take some time...
