Later that same night, all of the guests went home, and the team sat huddled together in the living room. Nanala sat on the couch behind Clint, as he sat on the floor in front of her fiddling with something in his fingers. Nanala figured it was probably an arrow, but it could've been a drumstick as well. She hadn't been paying enough attention to it. Bruce was sitting next to her talking to Natasha, and Nanala was simply enjoying the calm and happiness in the room.

"But it's a trick," Clint commented, pulling Nanala's attention from her wandering mind.

"No, no," Thor answered, chuckling,"it's much more than that."

"So whoever be he worthy shall haveth the power," Clint joked, his voice going low, causing Nanala to roll her eyes,"Whatever man, it's a trick," He continued to claim, motioning to the hammer, as Thor simply chuckled.

"Please, be my guest," Thor replied, raising his hand towards the hammer in a welcoming gesture.

"Really?" Clint asked, and Thor nodded,"yeah," He answered.

"Oh, this is going to be beautiful," Rhodey commented, causing Nanala to shake her head.

"Clint, you've had a tough week. We won't hold it against you if you can't get it up," Tony joked, and everyone laughed, except Nanala, she faked a gag.

"You know I've seen this before, right?" Clint voiced, nodding to the hammer.

Clint pulled on the hammer, a clear struggle was noticed by everyone in the room.

"I still don't know how you do it," Clint said, laughing off the fact that he was unable to pick up the hammer.

"Smell the silent judgement?" Tony asked, smirking up at Clint.

"Please, Stark, by all means," Clint replied, calling him out.

Tony stood with a sigh, as Clint walked back over to his spot on the floor. Nanala patted his shoulder slightly, giving him an encouraging smile.

"Next time," She murmured, and Clint nodded.

"Never one to shrink from an honest challenge," Tony commented, looking over at everyone,"it's physics," He added, before turning to Thor,"so if I lift it, I then rule Asgard?" He asked, and Thor nodded slightly.

"Yes, of course." Thor replied, knowing Tony was too confident in himself.

"I will be reinstituting prima nocta," He said, causing Nanala to roll her eyes.

She watched as Tony tried to pull on the hammer, but he was struggling.

"Be right back," He announced, before he walked off.

Nanala laughed quietly to herself, knowing exactly where Tony was going. Tony came back with an arm from his Iron Man suit and he tried to pull the hammer. He had even powered up the arm, but to no avail. He then pulled Rhodey up with him to help him pull on the hammer.

"Are you even pulling?" Rhodey asked, looking over at Tony.

"Are you on my team?" Tony asked, looking back at his friend.

"Just represent. Pull," Rhodey replied,"Alright, let's go," Tony added, as he and Rhodey pulled the hammer, but still couldn't lift it.

Once they completely lost, Nanala shook her head at Tony as he walked back over to his spot. Next up was Bruce, and as he pulled, he yelled out. Nanala could tell he was trying to joke around, but it was a bit awkward. The whole thing with Big Green wasn't exactly funny.

"Go, Steve, no pressure," Tony murmured, as Steve then stood up to take his own turn.

The team watched as Steve placed his hands on the hammer, before he began to pull on it. Nanala swore she seen the hammer move slightly, and she knew she was right when she seen the look on Thor's face. Thor had let out a nervous chuckle when Steve had let go of the hammer with a defeated sigh, which Nanala felt was a bit fake.

"Widow?" Nanala heard, causing her to turn towards the redhead.

"Oh, no no, that's not a question I need answered," She replied, taking a sip of her drink.

"Kitty?" Tony asked, causing Clint to look up at her.

"If you've read the books, you know for a fact just by my last name, I'd never be able to pick up that hammer," She replied, her voice low.

Clint smiled sympathetically at her, knowing how much her birth family had hurt her. He lightly patted her knee, letting her know he was there for her.

"All difference to the man who wouldn't be king, but it's rigged," Tony commented, pulling everyone from Nanala's depressive moment.

"You bet your ass," Clint replied, and Nanala chuckled.

"Steve," Maria called,"he said a bad language word," She commented, causing the others to laugh.

"Did you tell everyone about that?" Steve questioned, looking over.

"The handle's imprinted, right?" Tony asked, looking to Thor,"Like a security code? Whoever's caring Thor's finger print, is I think the translation," He commented, and Thor chuckled.

"Yes, that's a very very interesting theory," Thor began, as he stood up and picked up his hammer,"I have a simpler one. You're all not worthy," He said, causing some to boo and others to laugh.

"Is your hammer like my wand?" Nanala asked, catching Thor's attention,"The wand picks the wizard, so your hammer picked you?"

"How does that work?" Tony asked, looking over at Nanala,"Does that mean if another witch or wizard tried to use your wand, they wouldn't be able to?"

"Not necessarily," She began, shaking her head,"it pretty much means that the wand would act up. Certain cores could cause more trouble, and certain cores would rather die than work for another witch or wizard," She replied, and Tony nodded.

"Well, my hammer can only be lifted by those who are worthy, and your wand seems to pick the person it believes is worthy to wield it. So, I believe your wand and my hammer are one in the same. They work for the worthy," Thor stated, giving Nanala a charming smile in return.

All the fun and games was over soon after when a loud noise was heard, causing everyone to stop what they were doing...

A/N: I hope you guys liked this chapter. I didn't want Nanala to try and lift the hammer, at least, not yet. Do you guys believe she would be able to lift the hammer? If so, why? Or if not, why?

Love you guys!
