Over almost a year's time, Shuri had come to Nanala with the news that Bucky was ready to be unfrozen. Nanala had been using her time to teach Henry a little magic at a time. He was pretty good at what she taught him. He had even been excited to learn from the books Nanala had that she read to him.

Like Nanala had promised, she and Henry went to visit Clint, Laura, and the kids often. They went at least twice a month, sometimes more if they had the chance. Sometimes they would stay for a couple days, sometimes they would stay for a week at a time. As long as Nanala promised to come back to Wakanda when she was needed, T'Challa and Shuri didn't mind how long she and Henry were away.

Anyhow, Nanala waited near the door in the lab, as Shuri grabbed a paper with Bucky's trigger words. Bucky stood near the medical table, which Shuri had used earlier to check on his arm. She wasn't sure if almost a year in the freezer would mess up his arm or not.

Luckily in that time, Bucky's arm was healed, and Nanala didn't have to worry about the man being in pain anymore. T'Challa and Nanala stood defensively, as Shuri read Bucky's trigger words slowly.

Bucky did flinch by the sound of the words, but his eyes widened when he realized the words hadn't worked. He was fixed, and he didn't have to worry about HYDRA being able to control him anymore.

"You did it!" Nanala exclaimed, after putting her wand back in her pocket.

"How do you feel, Sargent Barnes?" Shuri asked, looking at the man.

"Lighter, more clear," He replied, and the two girls smiled at him.

"Now that we know you're clear, you can go see the place you're staying. I believe you'd like to rest after everything you went through," T'Challa commented, causing Bucky to nod.

Before anyone could move, Henry came running into the lab.

"Mummy, I had cookies!" He exclaimed, as he ran over to Nanala and wrapped his arm around her leg.

"You had cookies for breakfast?" Nanala asked,"Who gave them to you?" She asked,"I bet I know," She commented, looking up at T'Challa with a playful glare.

"They were oatmeal," T'Challa replied, causing the woman to roll her eyes.

"They were still cookies, but I guess it's fine," She answered, smiling down at her son.

"Mummy," Henry said in awe,"the man is awake," He murmured, as he let go of his mother and took a few steps towards Bucky.

Bucky looked down at the boy, but there wasn't really an expression on his face. Once Henry was in front of him, he smiled up at the man and stuck his hand out.

"I'm Henry," The little boy said, causing Bucky to smile a little.

"I'm Bucky," Bucky answered, shaking the little boy's hand as careful as possible.

"Mummy said you was frozen 'cause you was sick. You better now?" He asked, and Bucky nodded.

"They fixed me. I'm not sick anymore," Bucky replied, causing the boy to smile again.

"Do you want to show him to where he'll be staying, Nala?" T'Challa asked, and the woman nodded.

"I can do that," She answered, giving the man a smile.

Nanala walked over and grabbed her son's hand, causing the little boy to look up at her.

"Let's show Bucky where he'll be staying," Nanala said, and Henry nodded excitedly.

Henry quickly grabbed Bucky's other hand, and pulled him to follow him and his mother. Bucky slowly followed along, not wanting to spook Henry, nor did he want to walk too fast for the boy's little legs. Once they were out of ear shot, Shuri smirked at her brother.

"I'm telling you, brother, those two will be together in no time, and Henry will finally have the father he's been telling you he wished for," Shuri said, and her brother chuckled.

"Don't try to play matchmaker, little sister, but I agree. I have a feeling there will be a happy ending for the three of them," T'Challa replied, causing his sister to grin.

Nanala and Henry lead Bucky to the hut that was right next to theirs. He would live about one hundred feet away from Nanala and Henry's hut.

"You'll be staying here. There's already a bed inside, as well as a couch and other things you may need. The kitchen has some food in it, but if you don't like what's in there or you can't cook, you can come to my place. We live right beside you," Nanala told Bucky, and the man nodded.

Bucky walked around his hut, studying everything a little bit. He didn't know how to use some of the technology in the kitchen, but he would figure it out, or he would have to ask Nanala. He actually felt more comfortable asking Nanala than asking anyone else, but that was because Nanala was a more familiar face, even though he only knew Nanala a few hours more than Shuri and T'Challa.

Actually, he figured he felt more comfortable around her because she fought for him at the airport and not against him. Yes, Shuri and T'Challa had helped him immensely with getting HYDRA out of his head, but he still felt a little wary about them. For all he knew, they could change their minds about him, and he could be in danger.

Steve had told him he was safe with Nanala though, and that he should trust the girl. Steve swore he trusted Nanala with his life, so Bucky had decided to trust her with his own. She was a very nice girl, and from what he seen, the girl was very strong, so he believed she'd be able to fight off anyone in her way. He just hoped he put his trust in the right person, and he hoped the very beautiful and nice woman put as much trust in him as he did her...
