The Twins | Chapter 4

"Speaking" 'Thinking' ~Pico~

"Ah, The host is finally here. How long has it been? Nearly five years now?" The male twin spoke. Pico slightly sweat dropped at the man's demeanor.

~Hey! Don't be so mean to the host, it's not his fault, he's still a teenager after all...~ Pico stood up for the boy. ~Actually it's surprising that he's even here right now, Pico thought that it'd take at least ten more years...~ Pico spoke. She looked up at Midoriya who was no longer frozen and was now staring down at her.

Pico started nervously messing around with her fingers. ~Host is just a little different is all. Maybe it's because of everything that's been going on in Hosts' life?~ Pico once again spoke.

Midoriya huffed and nodded. He should of known something would happen with how much stress he's been under. Not to mention..., right now he was in class..., is he still there? Did they send him to a hospital...?

Midoriya was slightly worried as to what was happening to his body outside of all of this...

"Hey kid!" The female twin called out. Midoriya flinched as he realized she'd been trying to get his attention. "What's your plan in life? I mean, you don't want to be a hero still, right?" The female twin asked. Pico was slightly curious about this too.

Midoriya shook his head. Every time he'd said he wanted to be a hero he was made fun of or beat up. Even if he had a quirk, this probably wouldn't change...

"Good! I'm not saying that you can't do nice things for people, but that path is just atrocious and boring. I don't think I'd be able to live as a proper guide if I had to deal with taking care of a hero..." The twin said.

"Shioru!" The male twin spoke up. "Never mind her, she prefers the path of villainy above all else, she enjoys getting in trouble..." The male twin told him. Midoriya nodded. He wasn't sure about becoming a villain yet..., but..., he has thought about it before...

Shioru seemed to notice his thoughts and smirked. "I think that he'd be a great villain though, and could you imagine the revenge he could get. Not to mention, he could clean the world of vermin. Everyone, just like that no good bully of yours. He's no hero, he's just another villain looking for fame and fortune. He doesn't have any wish to go out and save people." Shioru spoke, trying her best to influence Midoriya's thoughts.

The male twin huffed in annoyance at his twin's words. He already knew what she was trying to do, he wouldn't say anything about it though, especially since he too thinks that the path of the hero is boring. Not to mention, a hero never has a good ending. No matter how much good you do in life.

"Now then Host! You have quite the amount of rewards ahead of you. We have been with you for quite some time now, which means that you've been doing an abundance of quests without even knowing you were doing them. Also meaning, that you have quite the number of tries at the roulette table. What do ya say, why don't we go head over towards the machine, yeah?" Shioru spoke.

"Before that, let us properly introduce ourselves..." The male twin cut in. Shioru looked at her twin angrily, but the male twin simply ignored her. "My name is Shiaru Shiyoka, this here is my twin Shioru Shiyoka. It's nice to properly meet you, Host." Shiaru told him.

Midoriya smiled happily at the man's intro. "It's nice to meet you two as well. I'm sure that you already know, but I'm Izuku Midoriya." Midoriya told the twins. The room seemed happy for a moment, before Shioru decided to go over to Midoriya and start dragging him over towards a machine.

"Alright Host! So to be honest the amount of rewards you have right now is a tad unfair if you ask me. But since you've technically been stacking up for the last five years it's understandable. Could you imagine what it'd of been like if you'd waited at least ten years. You'd have a loooootttt of rewards." Shioru told the boy.

"Oh yeah..., How exactly do I gain rewards anyway..." Midoriya asked the woman. Shioru grinned at the boy's curiosity.

"Like Pico mentioned, you have to finish quests in order to get rewards, the quests will randomly pop up during the day, sometimes they'll just be random and have you do many different things, however, what you should watch out for are the main quests. The quests that help you strengthen your body and sharpen your mind." Shioru told the boy as she started setting up the roulette game. Lucky Draw, the roulette game that the system revolved around. Sure there are many other games within the system, but none of them can compare to Lucky Draw.

"This is Lucky Draw right? Pico showed it to me before. Though I thought it was in the other room..." As Midoriya turned to look at where the other room was, it was no longer there. There was only a wall.

"Oh..." Midoriya spoke. He turned back towards Shioru to find her chuckling.

"No need to be so surprised host, the disappearing rooms is kinda normal here. It's our home after all, we can do anything we want here." Shioru told the boy. Shioru pulled up a seat at the gambling machine, it was like a large wheel, not quite the machine that Midoriya had expected it to be, but it still worked as a roulette machine.

"Currently..., you have about..., 23,086 spins host, Like I said, I think this is a tad biased and unfair..." Shioru told the boy. Midoriya sat there and gaped at her words.

"T- that much..., for only five years...!?" Midoriya vocalized.

"Well, if you consider how many days are in a year with how many quests you get each day, it's a rather normal amount. But with you only starting off..., I think it's just a tad unfair and op for a beginner like you..." Shioru frowned and slightly pouted at the amount of rewards she has to make up and give away.

"Anyway. You my dear, have quite the amount of luck, so it wouldn't be too weird if you were to get something about luck or something op throughout your spins. Just remember that spins aren't always something you'll get from doing quests. In fact, you totally shouldn't have this many spins, I think there was a glitch in the system..., or Pico just likes you too much..." Shioru whined.
