The Robot Incident | Chapter 42

"Speaking" 'Thinking' ~Pico~

Izumi came to a halt as screams rang throughout the fake city. She looked around and noticed that Momo had also stopped in her tracks at the sound. Izumi looked around for a moment and found a large building. She used her quirk and began floating up to the top of the building.

"Momo-chan! I'll be back in a second!" Izumi shouted towards the girl as she peacefully landed on the roof. Momo stood in awe at the fact that she could fly with her quirk as well.

"Alright, be careful Izu-chan!" Momo shouted back, already used to the girl using her first name.

Izumi looked around for a moment, after just a few minutes she spotted a large robot, she was going to warn Momo, but a loud scream caught her attention. She looked towards the ground where the robot was moving towards. There in a pile of rubble sat a girl covered in fallen debris from the tumbling buildings all around her. Her face went from one of nervous fright to terror as the robot grew closer to the girl.

"Momo-chan, I'll be right back, you continue to destroy the robots!" Izumi told the girl as she floated down from the buildings and began running towards the direction of the large robot. She made it there fairly quickly with the use of her quirk. 

She noticed the girl's leg was stuck and it looked like it might even be broken. Izumi used her quirk quickly and moved the rocks from off of her. "Are you alright." Izumi asked as she quickly picked the girl up. The brown haired girl was shocked at Izumi easily lifting her from the ground. However she couldn't pay any attention to that when as soon as they turned around to move, the robot stepped right where she had been. The brown haired girl looked up at her in terror, but soon relaxed at the calm and determined expression of the girl she was being carried by.

After a moment Izumi laid the girl down in a safer spot. She quickly turned around and looked at the approaching Monstrosity of metal. "Well, it's worth a shot." She whispered to herself. She lifted her arms and her eyes soon began to glow a mean green. Her hands were locked in the air and soon a feeling of pressure came over her. She began moving backwards ever so slightly as her quirk completely surrounded the metal being. 

Behind her, a group of others quickly stole the injured girl from her spot, Izumi was quickly being pushed back and she could feel that there were now drawbacks to her quirk which didn't have any before. She closed one of her eyes, quickly feeling the weight overcome her.

"Izu-chan!" Momo shouted as she ran over and held her up. Making it easier for her to hold the robot back. 

"Momo-chan, can you do something about this!" Izumi asked. Momo looked up at the large robot. She was worried, however when she looked back at Izumi, she noticed that her eyes were starting to lightly fade in color and there was blood falling from her nose.

"Izu-chan! You're bleeding! We should just leave it and get out of here!" Momo told her. Trying to spread reason into the girl.

"But what if it hurts the others." She asked her. Momo's eyes widened as she looked around, there were in fact still others in the area. She bit her lip and looked back up at the large robot. Finally as she looked the thing over, she came across the neck of the robot.

"Izu-chan, can you send me up!" She asked the girl. Izumi looked over to her and then towards the robot, she quickly nodded and started using her quirk on Momo. She lifted her up as best she could, sending her towards the shoulder of the large robot.

Izumi was slowly being pushed back once again. This time though, the blue haired boy from before was by her side and holding her up. She looked at him in surprise before focusing on Momo and the robot. She could feel her head growing fuzzy, but she refused to stop just yet. Momo finally reached the top of the robot and swiftly created a large bomb. As soon as she'd put it in place she'd jumped down from the robot and Izumi quickly used her quirk on her to stop her from falling.

Momo landed on the ground and picked Izumi up. "Lets get out of here!" She shouted, the others that were in the area watched as the three of them started running towards them. The robot wasn't far behind, but before it could take another step, a loud explosion rang through the air. A piece of rubble came flying towards them, but luckily Izumi was still awake. She quickly stopped it in mid air before it came any closer to them. After a moment, where as others were screaming and cheering for them, Izumi swiftly passed out and laid motionless in Momo's arms.

Izumi woke up in a white bed. She was still really tired, however the moment she opened her eyes she noticed Izuku sitting in a chair beside her. "Huh! Big Brother!" Izumi shouted, getting a loud shhh, from those in the room. She jumped into his arms and was quickly surrounded by those that had been waiting for her.

Recovery Girl was next to him, eyeing the two in confusion. She had no idea that he had a sister, he'd never mentioned the girl once in the entire time they'd known each other and they'd known each other since the kid was just reaching his teens.

"Izumi, be quiet please. You're not the only one who was injured during all of this." He scolded her. Izumi pouted as she sat back on the white bed. 

"You're no fun big brother..." Izumi whined. Izuku could only sigh at the girl and look up to Recovery Girl.

"Thank you for calling me Chiyo-san. I was worried that something like this was going to happen..." He told her. Recovery Girl smiled and chuckled at the boy's worried eyes. There it was, the recognition she's been waiting for, this girl was for sure his sibling after all.

"No problem Izuku, I've been waiting for you to come and visit me anyway. Pico's quite the smart little girl, She's almost as smart as her father was when he was young." She joked with a small chuckle. Izumi looked between the two of them with a small pout.

"This is no fair, why didn't you tell me you knew the nurse." Izumi pouted. Izuku choked at the girl's words.

"Izumi..., she's not simply a nurse..." He told her. Izumi looked at the woman in confusion. 

"She's not?" She questioned. Izuku shook his head at his other self playing around. However it truly seemed like she had no idea who she was. Pico's screen appearance played in front of him. 

- Izumi has no idea about most of host's past, Pico wanted Izumi to seem like she was a real person, so she doesn't really know any of the heroes in Japan, not even All Might. Pico also gave Izumi a small past of her own. Though Pico doesn't know what host's father looks like, so Pico gave him a random face, he was quite the mean man to Izumi...-

Izuku felt a look of surprise fall over him as he looked at the words displayed in front of his eyes. He simply sighed and looked at Izumi with a small saddened expression. She looked at him with confusion before looking back to the woman.

"You must know my Big Brother, my names Izumi Midoriya! It's nice to meet you Nurse-san!" Izumi told the woman. Izuku once again choked and laid a hand over his eyes.

"Forgive her Chiyo-san, she's lived in America for quite some time. She's only recently come to live with me so she doesn't know any of the heroes here..." Izuku told the woman. Recovery Girl laughed at the boy's words. 

"Not a single one huh? That's surprising, I'm wondering how she'll react once she meets All Might then. That buffoon will surely be in for a surprise once he learns that someone doesn't know who he is." Recovery girl joked with him. Izuku could only laugh along with the woman.
