Aunt Mitsuki... | Chapter 8

"Speaking" 'Thinking' ~Pico~

Midoriya was sitting in the hospital bed, yet again being attached to different annoying machines. They haven't allowed him to check out since there might be a case on him. It was annoying to say the least...

As he waited in the hospital bed with Pico laying against his chest napping. He waited for a doctor or someone to visit him. It'd already been a couple of hours since everyone left his room. It was starting to get boring. As Midoriya waited for someone to visit. He decided to take out the Laptop he'd received from Lucky Draw.

It was something he'd definitely make use of in the future. Especially since it has a police scanner in it too that gives him a fair warning of which police unit is in the area and if there's a crime happening near him.

Not to mention..., the hacking guide that came with it. Midoriya didn't take that out though, it was a tad too risky in a hospital room where there may be cameras. Midoriya heard a knock on the door a while after messing around on the laptop. He'd simply set everything up. Personalized the thing and even made a small channel on Herotube just in case he ever felt like making videos. He did receive recording equipment already as well. It was like everything was pushing him towards becoming a HeroTuber.

Midoriya put the laptop back inside his inventory and called the person in. He was surprised to see the one coming in was actually Bakugou's mother. The woman looked down at him with something he couldn't quite place. Worry? Sadness..., there was a bit of everything in her look. 

"Aunt Mitsuki..." Midoriya spoke. He wasn't expecting her to be the one to come in at all.

"Izuku..., I'm so sorry..." Mitsuki spoke. She had no idea what was happening to him. She had no idea what her son was doing to him, how her best friend treated her own son. The woman fell to her knees on the side of his bed. "I'm so sorry Izuku..." The woman cried next to his bed. Midoriya had dark circles under his eyes along with sunken cheeks that were definitely more noticeable without makeup to put over them.

He'd been trying his best to hide everything. He didn't want the hassle of dealing with everything from others. He didn't like the idea of answering countless questions from people who didn't actually even care.

Pico started moving around on his chest. The girl seemed to wake up and notice the woman by their side. She looked up at him before going over and tapping the woman's spikey blonde hair. Mitsuki looked up at the little hand that made contact with her head. As she looked up, her red eyes made contact with a dull blue. Mitsuki's eyes widened at the child.

"I- Izuku..., who's this...?" Mitsuki asked. She looked at the little girl, then towards Midoriya.

~Papa!~ Pico just so happened to chime in at that moment. She wasn't going to allow him to tell her that she was his quirk. Mitsuki's eyes widened even further. 

"You..., You have a child... Oh dear god..., Izuku you aren't even-

"She's my quirk, Auntie..." Midoriya told the woman before she started to freak out. Pico puffed up her cheeks at the boy's intervention. She was really looking forward to the woman freaking out about him having a child...

"Your..., Izuku..., you have a quirk?" Mitsuki asked. Before Midoriya could even speak up, another knock was placed on the door. Midoriya didn't even say anything, but the door opened and in walked the doctor from earlier.

"Oh..., My apologies, I wasn't aware that you had any visitor's Midoriya-san... Um..., Who is this?" The doctor asked.

"I'm his mother's... well... I was her friend... Izuku's pretty much my nephew..." Mitsuki answered the man.

"I'm assuming that you had no idea what was happening to the boy then?" The doctor questioned. Mitsuki shook her head. She hadn't the slightest clue what was happening. She'd only found out that Izuku was in the hospital because Katsuki wouldn't stop hyperventilating.

"I see..., It's a bit late for visitors..., but..., Midoriya-san is still underage so I suppose it's alright..." The doctor told her. Mitsuki nodded her head as the man made his way further into the room and in front of the boy's bed. 

"Alright Midoriya-san, everything is set up for you. Your quirk is updated as well as Pico's here. She has a very strong creation quirk. The others and I were quite surprised to find it." The doctor told the boy. Midoriya smiled at that. He was happy that they weren't able to discover that she wasn't actually human.

"I'm still not quite sure how your quirk managed to create another human..., but this is the age of quirks so I can't quite say that this wasn't in sight of expectations. It was bound to appear at some point." The doctor told him. "Though it is even stranger that you appeared as a late bloomer and she appeared. I guess there are still many things that we don't quite understand about your quirk..." The doctor told him. Midoriya nodded as he watched Pico mess around with her stuffed rabbit again. She'd plopped back down on his stomach and was playing.

"She'd been here for nearly five years already, it's just that she wasn't able to make herself appear at that time." Midoriya told the man. That would explain her being able to appear and disappear, which was exactly what he needed to get away with her appearing and disappearing in front of the man before.

"I see. Well she probably didn't have her quirk at that time, which means that she's been growing on her own as time went on..." The doctor spoke up. " Your quirk is indeed fascinating Midoriya-san." The doctor told him. Midoriya smiled in return. Mitsuki was still a bit suspicious considering no one in the family had such a quirk, but she didn't speak up. She had no plans of making more trouble for the boy.
