ON THE SAME EVENING
Magnus heard a knock in the door..
Magnus :Which idiot is knocking when there is a doorbell already..!! (he said annoyingly and get off from his bed.. he came out of his room)
Soon The knocking upgraded to banging ..
Magnus :"what the….. "(he said to himself) …I'm coming!! (he ran towards the door)
When he opened the door, he saw Alec leaning on the doorframe by resting his head on it, he was facing the wall …
Magnus rubbed his nose when he got a concentrated smell of alcohol, he is not disgusted by the smell but he knows this smell Gould tempt him, it would make the situation worse, he was already confused thinking of what he did last night.. Now Alec came home like this.. Which is rare!!!
"Excuse me, doctor!!!" Alec coughed… magnus moved on his side making way for alec… Alec didn't look into his face, he chuckled and walked towards his room, the strong wooden floor felt slippery to alec.. Magnus was following him… alec took support from the table chair and wall on the side.. Magnus watched him questioningly…
Alec somehow managed and walked to his room… magnus shook his head and crossed passed him but he stopped because he wanted to make sure that he is not the reason for alec's pain this time…
Magnus :umm… alec!!! (he called hesitantly)
Alec turned around and saw Magnus by leaning a little forward in teasing way.. Magnus rolled his eyes..
Alec :Did you just call me to see your rolling eyes… like(he swing his fingers the way magnus rolled his eyes)
Magnus already regretted that he called alec….
Magnus: Did you get drunk because of me??? (he asked seriously)
Alec laughed at Magnus . Which made Magnus angry… he held Alec's shirt and asked him again "answer me!!! Did you drink because of me??" he asked sternly…
Alec :no I drink because of me…(magnus looked at him confusingly) I am so stupid for all these years. I was guilty and didn't know what to do.. I don't want to die, so i drink… (he blabbered and pouted )
Magnus :all these years…? (he thought for a second!!!then something clicks his mind) did Cody say anything to you?? (he shook alec and he nodded in return with a painful smile ..)
Magnus took him to the wash bin and splashed water on his face… after 3 or 4 splashes… Alec pushed Magnus away …
Alec :you son of b****... Why did you do that??? (he asked wiping his face) did you know how painful it is to live my life??? (he leaned on the wall next to him… magnus stood there like a statue listening to alec..)
Alec :yes I was wrong!!!!! I was the one who made mistakes.. I blame you and I left you in the middle by dumping some ugly accusations on you… what do you want me to do now… to die for my mistakes ??? Ughh??? (he said while wiped his mouth and took a step forward to the bed)
Magnus swallowed hard on hearing that . He is always afraid to take this topic just because of this…this guilt and pain. it will definitely kill both of their peace…
Alec : I failed to listen to you and trust you but to be honest The trust issues are about me not you!!! … because I am possessed by my own pain.. Do you know why I came to Newyork???? In our village being gay is a sin… our family is the most traditional one on that village, on my 16 I came out as a gay in front of my dad .. You know what he did.. He sent me to a home through our church … which is filled with homophobic person, trying exorcism on me, they gave me a psychological session.. . They thought I am lunatic, they thought I got possessed by a ghost or something… they tortured me every day and night to get me out of my illusion as gay… that's what they think.. They think I lost my mind… I fought a lot.. I struggle a lot.. Finally my mom saved me from that hell..my dad didn't accept me that easy.. even today he don't like me being a gay…
