"Yes I did"
This is the sentence repeating in his head for all this time…ignoring that he tried to focus "come here over this way!!" Alec said and dragged a few people towards the exit door…everyone kept on moving outside under Alec's protection…
All of sudden he frowned on remembering Magnus's signature, he stood there like a statue…. Not knowing that the pillar behind him was falling apart…
Leo noticed that from a distance he looked at alec in disbelief who was standing there like a statue and lost in thoughts…
Leo : alec!!watch out!!! "he shouted and the next minute Alec turned around to see the pillar falling apart…

After an hour of begging to the cops who were standing close to the barricade, he saw an ambulance leaving the spot really fast…a bunch of firefighters carried the person and shifted him into the ambulance stretcher… Magnus noticed that someone was bleeding and struggling for his life in that ambulance… he ran after that ambulance praying they wouldn't be alec, he checked on the glass window, he saw Manny's head inside that ambulance, he ran fast following that vehicle but he couldn't match up with the speed …
On praying to every God and goddess he knows he ran back to the accident zone.. It's a shopping mall which caught fire…still lots of people are there to rescue… Magnus saw some of the firefighters carrying two people in their arms and running towards the ambulance standing over there… Magnus could recognise Leo in that uniform even though he wore a helmet… he ran to Leo and stopped him by holding his wrist…
Magnus : Is Alec okay?? (he asked but the other person shrugged his hand annoyingly and took a step forward)
"Wait.. Wait.. You are Leo right???" Magnus asked nervously.. The person took his helmet from his head and stared at him… and yes he is leo
"it's you( Magnus breathed out) … where is alec??"Magnus asked again, it's clear he panicked.
Leo : why do even care magnus??? (he asked angrily)
Magnus : Leo, this isn't the time for it… is alec okay or not?? (he tensed out)
Leo :Of course it is .. You already signed for divorce..then why did you even care about him.. Does it matter to you, if he is safe or not?? (he lashed out)
Magnus : God.. (he closed his face) it's my fault.. Okay…. It's all my fault and I made a mistake… Now Please tell me, is he okay ?? (he asked looking at the way the ambulance left few minutes ago)
Leo : It's alec (Leo said with fuming eyes which is filled with tears right now) there is a limit for a person to take pressure..and this is it… You have been pressuring him for the past 3 days, you don't care how he feels,yes he made a mistake but he didn't deserve a divorce for it.. he is not in right mind for all these days… as a result.. He couldn't concentrate and the pillar lost its support from the ceiling and fell on people around there… (he said grinding his teeth not to cry… magnus started to shiver and he stood there all startled, he couldn't even cry, everything is too much for him to take ) it fell on alec's shoulder.. He wasn't responding since then he lost his consciousness .. (he said and kicked his legs on the ground in anger ..)
Magnus took a step back on hearing that… "no.. No that shouldn't be true … (his voice barely audible) you are lying, aren't you?? … you are lying to hurt me…okay you won, now stop lying, tell me where is my alec??(he asked in disbelief, leo shook his head as no, on swallowing his tears he closed his eyes )
