💜💜Chapter 123💜💜 EPILOGUE
He checked his phone, opening one eye, while rubbing his forehead, barely opening his other eye .. He couldn't sleep all night, not only last night, he hadn't slept well the day before too... he barely took 2 hrs naps each day in the past 2 days , that was too out of tiredness.. He clicked his tongue disappointedly on seeing the same unseen text which he sent to Alec last night.. Not only last night he didn't get any reply from his husband for almost a day . Which is nothing but disturbing his inner peace and his fears and anxiety was at peak only he knew how much he fake his smile for the whole day around his family members and daughter .. Because Roxana needs that warm treatment, she will be worried if Magnus wasn't happy in front of her.. She sort of found out that his dad was zoned out more often..
He looks at the wall clock and it's 4.30 am in the morning... He sat on the bed and yawned really bad... He went to the bathroom and washed his face, he brushed his teeths while staring at himself in the wash bin mirror...he looked like a ghost... he swallowed hard On seeing the fading hickey on his collar bone which his husband left on him 2 days back.. He adjusted his t-shirt and went to Roxana's room to check on her, while whipping his face with a towel... The house looks darker just like Magnus's mind right now.... He opened the bedroom door quietly and took a quick look at his sleeping daughter who turned 6 a few days back.... Maryse was sleeping next to her... he smiled at them and closed the door gently, not to make any noise... yes they all live in the same house, the one alec built for his magnus, the beach house..even though magnus was surrounded by all these loving peoples , he always misses his favorite human when he goes for 24 hrs or 48 hrs shift.. Without Alec's yelling and bickering ,It would be a blank space in magnus life...
Alec went for 48 hrs shift and he was too busy on his mission .. But can't he just see the text and say that he is fine?? That's what was running in Magnus's mind for all this time...he was about to walk to the kitchen because he saw Jack (Alec's fav pet.. A brown and black colored German shepherd) had already woken up and he was roaming in the hall looking to accompany Magnus ...
"hey buddy.. Can't sleep without your master??" Magnus chuckled while looking at Jack, he surrounded Magnus' legs with his body and rubbed his face on his knees.. "You might be hungry.. Come on, let me treat you!!" Magnus smiled and ruffled Jack's hair who walked close to magnus... He Was about to open the door upstairs so he could walk to the kitchen downstairs... But he stopped when he heard Jace talking with someone downstairs.. Jace's voice sounds raspy, he is a dead sleeper magnus knows that... is Alec back home? The thought of that brings a smile to his face. Jack didn't wait on hearing the other person's voice. Jack ran straight to the downstairs really quickly, leaving Magnus behind....
Magnus heard Alec giggling while talking to jack.... Magnus couldn't wait. He ran to the doorway on the upstairs but before he could reach he hit on the couch.. He bumped his little toe on it, he whined on holding his legs upright , he flapped his legs in the air... "shit!!shit... Shit" he whined, closing his eyes tight.. "This is how you welcome your husband home," Alec asked with a smirk while standing in the doorway. He came upstairs before Magnus could reach down .. He dropped his lunch bag on the stand nearer which is bigger and taller upto his knee level.. Magnus always fills this lunch bag for Alec whenever he goes for 48 hrs shift.. Like a school kid's lunch bag with juce, energy drink, nutri bars, candys and cooked food, etc etc..
"you fucking asshole!!" Magnus yelled and reached Alec in two quick steps. Just to feel his husband's lips on his own.. Alec kissed him pretty hard he missed him too.. He lifted Magnus by his thighs who locked his legs around Alec's waist still moaning in Alec's mouth.. The mixed smell of burnt cloth, gasoline and sweat and scent of alec is not gonna stop the other one from drowning into those kisses and those ocean blue eyes .. Alec lost himself in that kiss. He was barely balancing himself on the floor along with Magnus on his waist but Magnus didn't dare to close his eyes.. He wanted to look at his alec, he wanted to touch him everywhere to make sure he was not dreaming.. His hand started to wander all over Alec's chest and shoulders and arms... Well Alec knows what his magnus has actually been through.. Alec broke the kiss on seeing Magnus' eyes were still opened wide..
