💕Chapter 35 💕
Next day morning Magnus woke up with a heavy headache.. He went straight to the cupboard and took some medicines in empty stomach… which makes things even worse.. His head started to spin and he struggled to breathe normally… he went to the kitchen and made some coffee by himself, he added or ,2 cubes of sugar and later 2 more extar too… he couldn't focus and he couldn't get any clear vision until he took a sip of that coffee…
He sat on the couch with his cup of coffee and cursed himself for drinking this much last night…the last thing he remember is Cody came to his hospital in evening and they spend time together in the bar nearer not before visiting the accident zone to leave a single red rose on the side of the road… he don't remember when and how he get back to home.. he thought to call Cody once he reached the hospital because it's already too late for work .. And he doesn't want to give Mike any chance to take advantage…
The house looked strangely silent and then he noticed that there was no sign of alec… alec room door left open… he sneaked his head through the gap, but none was there… he shrugged his shoulders and got ready for his work…

When he reached the hospital he saw a fire truck outside the hospital… Sam was already on the night shift so he is taking care of the patient..
Magnus got changed on his scrub purple like always
"Hey magnus!! Where are your fellow doctors??" Manny asked, wandering around while entering into the op section…
Magnus :don't you guys think it's too early for the call..(he said sarcastically and took the new case file. )
Manny :there is no too early for us.. If the emergency siren beeps we have to be there in the next few minutes… (she said twisting her arms)
Magnus : Okay I need exact history details ?? (he asked and checked the fighters leaving the hospital from the waiting room which is outside the emergency ward…)
He saw Oman, persley, leo and gracie but not alec… he made a disappointed sound with his lips and continued with his work..
Manny :wait!!! ask leo, he is the one in the spot with our lieutenant … (she said and called for leo)
Leo came and gave those details.. Magnus noticed that Alec was standing outside next to the truck by scrolling his phone… he wanted to check on alec. Because he looks weird… It's been a day since he saw that face…
Magnus :call your team leader. I need a signature!! (he said looking at leo)
Leo smirked.. "You can directly ask me to call your husband ," he replied playfully. Magnus bit his lower lips like a warning to make Leo shut his mouth…anyways it's not gonna happen, leo is not gonna shut his mouth forever..
Leo laughed and went back to alec.. Magnus was watching them from inside.. He confirmed that Definitely something is wrong with Alec's behavior. The way he walks.. He always faces upright, eye to eye.. but today his face was more facing on the floor with heads down… and he barely looked at anyone with his eyes…
He approached Magnus still looking down.. Lifting his head then and now on the other side but not much.
Magnus Looked at him suspiciously…
Magnus :sign those papers… (he said staring at alec.. Which he won't do anytime before.. He want to see alec's face)
Alec didn't utter a word, he pulled the papers towards him and signed it without reading…" that's strange" Leo thought to himself … because alec always read twice before signing
