"Excuse me, my dear son.. You forget that I am his mother.. You don't have to request me to look after him" Maryse teased in return.. Magnus lifted his hands up in the air…
"it came out as a flow, sorry my lady " magnus smiled at her. But Maryse could see that difference.. It was like Wherever magnus is present you can find alec there like a little puppy but today maryse and Magnus were talking in the kitchen a bit longer but alec is still with his siblings.. They all were sitting in the bedroom and talking about something..
"hmmm. Magnus!!" she called before he could leave the kitchen..
Magnus :Hmm.. (he turned around with a smile)
Maryse :Is everything okay between you and alec?? (she asked out of concern, magnus frowned on that… ) It's just my mother's intuition that says nothing is the same. (she added.. Magnus don't want to hide it from Maryse, he tried to fake his smile but his face betrayed him )
Maryse : There you are!! (she closed her eyes, she could guess what's happening.. Magnus breathed out )
Magnus : Maryse, whatever it is , we will be fine!!! We will face it together… Things might not be the same as before.. But we aren't going anywhere.. He is still trying to overcome everything that happens to us.. The less we pressure him the more he feels better..(he said with a smile)
Maryse : What do you mean..?? Are you both not on good terms..?? Are you both fighting?? (she panicked because she knows alec will get insane if something like that happens because in the past only Maryse knew how much alec suffered after their breakup, few Things still left unsaid )
Magnus : no.. No.. Not like that.. We are good. It's just we are giving each other some space that's all.. (he tried to cover up because he can see that Maryse getting worried)
Maryse : space?? What the hell??What on earth do you both need space? You both are each other's happy place!!! (she said in disbelief) you know what?? Just Stay here.. I will bring alec here.. We need to talk!! (she said angrily and walked quick passing magnus )
Magnus :Maryse!!! Maryse!!!! Maryse!!!! Stop…. (he stopped her with her wrist) I didn't call you here to patch up things between us… I call you because I have a 24 hrs shift today.. I can't leave Alec alone.. He needs care… So I ask you to come and bring his siblings so that he can have some good time with them… If we start to do this in your presence.. He will definitely get upset ...Trust me maryse We will be fine..if we can't make it up then no one else… Just take care of him and don't ask anything about this… (she stared at magnus) Please(he cupped his hands)
Maryse didn't say anything, she just stared at magnus… Magnus shook his head with a painful smile and hugged her tight …
Maryse : if he is doing this, he is not only hurting himself magnus he is hurting you as well.. He thinks that he is punishing himself without realizing that he is punishing you along with him.. Someone has to open his eyes.. (she said sniffing Her tears..)
Magnus :I know!!! (he said rubbing her back) he is smarter than me.. All he needs is time. And he needs some space maryse.. I can feel that.. So.. If he is willing to come with you tomorrow morning !! (before he could finish Maryse shook her head as no)
Maryse :No, no, don't make me do this!!! (she said while wiping her tears)
Magnus : You think it's easy for me…?? Let him choose maryse… he should take as much time as he wants..he needs some fresh tunes to start all over again, not the same face that stops him from moving on… He needs to heal and grow stronger, not weaker… like he said days, months or years..let him take as much as he wants… I am not going anywhere.. But when he comes back I want him to be my alec.. So if he is ready to come with you then you don't have to ask me.. You can take him home with you.. (he said and left)
