It's been a week, things are getting a little better with Alec, like he can face Magnus then and now to answer him and to give a warm smile when Magnus gets back from his work .. Even if it's for a few seconds of smile, Magnus was dying the whole day to see that welcoming smile on Alec's face….
They talk then and now only like formal and usual things while being together at home…. Whenever Magnus tried to talk about anything else Alec just bailed on him by reasoning something at the moment.. Magnus was trying his best to pull up his alec to his old self but it's obvious it took a lot for Alec to act casual and he is fine. So Magnus didn't want to rush…
2 days back magnus took alec to the hospital for follow up and did a scan on his shoulder.. He is healing better now and sling was recommended occasionally,.. Like he can move his arms slowly he doesn't need to wear them 24/7... He can let his skin breathe then and now… For the past 2 days Alec was trying to grab things using the fingers of that injured hand.. He failed so many times but had Magnus by his side… He Tried Again And again.. So now he could lift a plate or glass of water.. Put on his own shirt and pants slowly but still can't grab things from the cupboard or can't stretch or extend his arms either like he can't wash his hair by lifting his hand upright, magnus did everything for him… even though he think he is bothering magnus but the alec inside him who loved his magnus like crazy was having his little indirect moments with his magnus whenever he get a chance …
Magnus was happy that Alec is healing well and he is not facing the floor most of the time .. He is reading books and spending time watching his favorite football. Even Though the Same telecast ran for 4 days in a row , Alec watched that instead of having the real talk with magnus.. Magnus knows Alec is watching TV and enjoying the other shows just to escape from their talks.. So Magnus doesn't want to make it hard for him. Because he could see that progress on alec.. He doesn't want to spoil it now.. Like he is eating the breakfast magnus made for him, he eats the lunch which magnus bought him everyday..sometimes alec orders pizza for both of them whenever magnus comes a little late at night… Well he used to sleep every afternoon when Magnus came to meet him.Magnus didn't want to disturb him so he left the parcel on the dining table with a note on it . Just because Alec is sleeping much during the day time he couldn't make it to bed earlier in the night time…
At first Alec lay in bed with Magnus but whenever he sees Magnus's face all he can remember is the painful things Magnus has been through alone… so He Faked his sleep until Magnus gave up and once he made sure Magnus drifted into sleep he tucked him under a blanket and walked out to the living room silently.. He switches on the TV and watches it all night alone until he falls asleep on the couch.. That TV was on all day and night. Only Alec knows what is running in his head… whether he is watching TV or trying to escape from his emotions and reality… Alec thought that the other person was sleeping peacefully but Alec didn't know he was not the only one faking his sleep..
Magnus night goes like him staring at the empty bed and wall all night until his eyes get tired and closed by itself … He Could only hear that low volume football Commentary …
When he woke up in the morning,he was always sleeping alone in that bed. Every morning he saw his alec sleeping on the couch with his mouth open like a kid.. That was Magnus' favorite view to see in the morning.. He pulled a blanket over him and made him sleep comfortably by pulling the backrest little backwards… he had his morning coffee by sitting opposite Alec on another couch.. He used to adore him in his sleep.. That's become his morning routine…
About alec..when you look at him from outside it feels like Things are getting better but only Alec knows how much he is holding himself not to cry out louder… He Woke up late in the morning to see his magnus waiting for him at the dining table. He gave a smile not to hurt his confidence in the morning itself… He has breakfast with his magnus pretty silently but he would reply if magnus asks him anything because he started to realize that he is not the only one dealing with all the mess.. The other person in front of him faced a lot more than him…
