Alec woke up from the couch cursing himself for breaking his neck in an attempt to sleep on the couch last night… he saw Magnus was lying on his stomach, his leg were placed over Alec's knees comfortably…
Alec was lying on his back with his head resting on the hand rest of the couch from one side.. Where Magnus lay on his stomach with his head resting on the hand rested on the other side of the couch..the TV was still on but the volume was low..
The teapoy was filled with a coke tin and a pizza box which was empty that they finished last night.. Magnus drifted into sleep while watching TV.. And Alec was not in the mood to move away from him.. So he slept by leaning his head on the other side..
He moved Magnus' legs away and saw the wall clock.. It's almost 8 in the morning… "shit!!!" Alec woke up in a hurry and went inside the bathroom.. After 10 minutes he came out all dressed and saw Magnus was still sleeping…
"hey!!! Wake Up!!! It's 8. 10" he shouted but Magnus shook his ass and replied "I am on night shift, get lost!!" he said without looking back.. His face was still buried in the couch cushion..
Alec kicked his ass and disappeared through the doorway…
"assh****" Magnus cursed while rubbing his ass … he went back to sleep again..
Alec reached his fire station and the day moved dead slow for him.. He was fully engaged with work but he couldn't be much active because whenever they visited the hospital because of an emergency case , Magnus wasn't there… Anna, Sam and some other doctors are there but they are not the one Alec is looking for… he just talked with Anna and Sam casually… Anna could notice that face of Alec which looks like a zero wards bulb..

it's around 6.30 pm, In the evening…
Alec's working time is over. He punched his card and came out of the fire Station.. Leo stopped him half way…
Leo :where are you going!?? It's party time!! (he said dragging him inside)
Alec :not in the mood man!!! Let me go (he said and walked further)
"What is the point in celebrating a fighters barbecue without our lieutenant "Manny asked him…
Alec smiled at her.." you know I am not much into this"he said to Manny
Gracie :We are working hard all day… just a moment of enjoyment won't hurt… stay with us lieutenant..
Persley :Besides, if the alarm goes on.. We have to rush back to the truck.. So why not enjoy the little time we have together…? (he continued)
Alec :Yeah but Omar will be here for you… (he pointed at persley) John will be here for you(he said looking at leo) and gracie is right there in the kitchen (he said looking at Manny)
"well you have me!!!" Henry shouted from nowhere which made everyone laugh and Alec smiled widely on seeing Henry walking out from his cabin…
Alec :chief!! (he smiled at Henry)
Henry :what am I not worthy for this little homy party?? (he asked offendedly)
Alec :Come on.. You know I love you Henry!!!(Alec said and hugged him from the side.)
Henry :Okay get ready for the fighters barbecue hurray!!!!!! (he shouted and everyone ran back to the lawn in front of the station which was arranged for their little party time).
Henry took Alec with him and they both sat on the chair outside the barbecue grill..Henry facing the road way while Alec facing the other side.
John handed them a beer.. The settling of sun in the evening and the climate out there is not helping alec… 10 yrs loneliness doesn't feel worse like today.. Because for all these days he was alone,he had none to join him and that's not the right word…he never let anyone fill that gap which magnus left in his life…
